*Great lightweight shelter. **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s love how it blocks the light from outside. It was a pain to open the first time but now that it is broke in goes up easy..*
I have the 949i which they made right before this model. It's nice to see they did something about those doors, I can't tell you how often I tripped getting out of my shack to go chase a flag!
This is a great video - great quality etc. This year I purchased the XD350 which is a little smaller than the one you have. Same features though. My comments are not meant to prevent anyone from buying this, its simply to bring to light some things to consider. Primarily the bag, I really wish they had a full length zipper on the bag vs the cinched end. It would make packing this up a heck of a lot easier. I've used mine a few times, one in which I camped in it over a weekend on Upper Red Lake. It kept me warm and did its job. Happy about that but packing it back into that bag was a bit**. The other times were just day fishing trips. Once there is any condensation that freezes, it does not pack up all that easy. I am not saying this is a reason to not purchase, just a heads up that repacking could be more of a challenge than what you made it look like. (I hope you don't take that the wrong way.)
Nice video, I have the flat fish 767 from Eskimo. I like but it s not insulated but I don’t believe it Was available when I got it . I love the door and the gramets on the outside on yours. I have the same tool for the stakes, and all the stakes . Lol I even have the caps for the stakes. Stay safe out there.
I’ll have to look into one of those I like that. I’ve got 2 flip over Shacks I want to add some thing like that to my arsenal. Couple backwoods ponds I want to fish next year foot access only that would fit in my pull sled easy
I watched video and I bought otter pro Lodge vortex. Same as this. They came out this year. Definitely love the door. I went with otter because it have rod holder lol Enjoyed this video! Thump up
How well do your plastic windows fit into the window cutout? I just got the 250 XD Breakout today and noticed at least two of the plastic windows seem to be cut large and the Velcro doesn’t match up too well as it’s a bit too large. Wonder if I can get some replacements from Eskimo?
My plastic seem to be tight if anything, if you go on Eskimos website have your serial number for your shack there’s a small tag where you will find it inside your shack. And you can order replacement things from there.
@@i3uzzbait905 as suggested to me, go online and file a claim and they will likely send replacements. Be specific which window doesn’t fit and provide photos. I got one in a few weeks and the other several weeks later.
