OMG - you are totally a MASTER! Teaching phonics in one hand and holding a baby in the other seamlessly! Thanks for all your tips and tricks! I've also started watching some of your workout videos! #lifegoals YOU ROCK!
Hey, I just subscribed. I am an ESL teacher from Montreal, Quebec. I compose kids’ songs for my early grades, and have activity sheets to accompany them. I find that they’re a bit more modern and fun than the usual grade 1-2 stuff. The kids really like them, you should check them out when you have the time.
Hi Maam. I am an English teacher of ESL students, too. I don't usually comment on youtube videos but I can't let this pass. You are sooooo amazing. I am also a mom and I can relate to how you teach with a baby😁😅😍🥰. Thank you for sharing your teaching strategies. I just came across your video in the suggested videos below. You are such an inspiration to me.❤🙏God bless.
I had to watch this video 2xs I was just so in love with your baby I heard nothing you said the first time. Thanks for a great series of videos and sharing your precious baby.
Thank you for these resources! And thank you for the 'hello likkle babyyy' that came out of my phonics hole when meeting your babe, no matter how indirect the phonics used in the sentence! I've just started an TEFL course and your joy and comprehensive lessons are PRICELESS! You're lovely and we love you xxxxx
I bet Jack is running all over the place now. I really enjoyed your video and I want to thank you for this lesson. I am new at VIP Kids and I thought the synthetics video the company provided wasn’t informative enough. I think this was very informative and I look forward to putting this into practice. Thanks for the video.
Hi Nancy! I just wanted to say thank you for your helpful videos! I'm a new teacher and I enjoy your tips. I was excited to find out from one video you live in Layton (I think)! I'm in Kaysville. It's so nice that VIPKID has a great community of helpful teachers. Thanks again!
Hi Nancy, thanks a lot for your videos, I'm sure they will be really helpful when I start teaching my first students))) look forward to watching the video #6 from your ESL Teaching Strategies series!))) mmmmwua
although this video is over 2 years old now, Phonics is i believe still the best practice to teach your child to read, even now in 2021, as so many kids have been off school during the covid outbreak.
The phonics may be a good idea for teaching words like "leg", "ant", etc. But what if you want to teach them "ball"? The A in "ball" is not like the A in "ant", so the student might get confused. Do you have any suggestions for that?
Phonics alphabet sounds @2:12. Explanation of why learning sounds without the/a/ sound attached @3:20 this will lead to the correct pronunciation for English
I love your videos. I watched quite a few. Just a hint, and I don't mean to be rude. R never says er unless it is with er, ir, or ur. R says the sound you hear at the beginning of run and red. You don't say er-run, nor er-red. Our school district provided extensive training and this was one of the big corrections people had to make.
There are several components to how to read easily . A plan I found which successfully combines these is the Pronto learner compendium (google it if you're interested) definately the most useful remedy that I've heard of. Check out the incredible info .
I love how you're mothering on camera without a worry that the videos should come out a certain way. That's the way it should be! Children are inseparable from our lives and they shouldn't be pushed away from work situations. It's difficult to manage, though.. Keep it up, mama!
There are a few suggestions for how to learn to read Decide precisely why you wish to learn Find what method works for you the best. (I discovered about these and more from Pronto learner compendium website )
Learn and explore with Hina Imran , Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Millawdon Future Ticket Trick (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for teaching children to read without the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my close friend Aubrey at very last got astronomical success with it.
She was scared of reading at the beginning - afraid of being mistaken. Yet right after 2 months followed this reading guideline ChildrenLearningReading5.blogspot.com she has started beginner novels and reads on her own! The results genuinely amazed me! Any age level could use this method.?
Can you give some tips to teach English as a second language to kids with learning disabilities? I am not a teacher but I was asked to teach English to a girl who is not doing well in school. Her mother told me she had learning difficulties. I couldn't refuse because she is the daughter of someone close to my family. What I detected is that she has problems retaining meanings and pronunciation. Last time I was teaching her the alphabet, I Even used a song and, even though she liked the song she could barely memorise pronunciation until letter G. It made me rethink how I am teaching her. I hace decided to go even slower with her. Tips on how to teach kids like her would be appreciated.
This video with your baby makes me want to have you as my best friend. You are so awesome, thanks for such wonderful tutorial tip videos. Totally suscribed and sending your way.
