Interesting that youre not using javelin or toppling charge. Also do you have nothing to purge? I basically get insta killed by this arcanist 1vXer if I don't purge all the debuffs they put on me hah. On xbox eu there just seems to be like 3 or 4 really good people on 24/7 and I've started trying to build against them, but probs don't have the gear or cp yet let alone the skills

@@tom2324 I use javelin nowadays, helps secure kills in acuity window when I don’t have ult. I don’t have a purge, honestly I find purge outnumbered to be a waste, 5 effects with multiple people attacking you is nothing. Also I’d have to build more into sustain and I don’t want to sacrifice damage

hah yeah sustain can be rough but I’m pretty comfortable with it now. Could swap out mundus or a recov glyph

@@user-pk6oz3xr4d Not a fan of sea serpents outside of 1v1’s, trying to land jabs with that snare is a miserable experience. Roksa is great but it’s a real shame to not run balorghs with acuity as it’s a lot of extra damage in the acuity window

Prefer markyn on plar & dk because of the minor sorcery/brutality passives. You’re better off stacking your base wep/spell dmg as high as possible

Nothing else that gives the same burst or ability to kill competent players. In my view if you want jabs as your spammable, it’s either acuity or you use the meta procs

Isnt acuity have 4 seconds uptime and 25 second cooldown? It seems concerning to me

It builds so it’s about 8-10 seconds I believe. You start at 20% and build with each damage process, up to 100% at 4 seconds. It’s true that Accuity will kill good players. But the wait is just too long for me and I’d rather stick to my 40% Crit rate build off of Orders. Some nights I switch between Accuity and Orders, but I love the battle with Orders as solo. Bottom line, Templar was born to crit build with spell damage.

Major breach + minor breach + balorghs, it’s a reasonable amount of pen but it’s the crits that carry the damage primarily

This build in particular? It’s alright if people don’t know you’re running acuity you can catch them off guard early on, a decent player will figure it out quickly. You’ll still lose most duels to the master dw/vate staff meta

The fact I had to tell the AD the other night to leave Andeh and focus on the defence at Alessia 😂 like a Zerg of dc at door, zergs of ep through wall and this mf’s kiting our only ad there to defend 😂😂

Sure it’s possible. Easiest way would be to swap the jabs and rune focus to the magicka morphs. But then you’d need a source of major sorcery which could go in the flex spot using degeneration. If you wanted to get the buff from spell power/alliance potions you’d probably have difficulties sustaining without tri pots

What about the attribute points? Redistribute into magika instead of stam? And would you still recommend well fitted on the gear?

@@cokzilla23 yes change attributes too. I’d still suggest keeping well-fitted, you’ll be dodging rolling regardless of mag/stam focus

Sure, just change mundus/glyph accordingly. I’d suggest shadow mundus on any other race and perhaps a recov glyph depending on how your resources feel

I don’t feel like I need it, the healing is already really strong without it and there are so many negative effects in this meta that cleansing 5 doesn’t feel very impactful. You could swap out PoTL or solar barrage for it but sustain will be pretty rough

Hey man, that was a nice fight! Yeah I gave up, was trying a new build but it doesn’t have enough damage. No secrets haha, lots of passive healing on templar if you keep your bubble and rune up

So if this is a good build, why change it to something giving less damage and not performing well. Is there gonna be a better build then???😅

But it is 1vx? Line of sighting is part of the skill kit of a 1vxer, it's what makes it possible. Would you prefer he stand in the open and trade damage with 5 dudes and hope his build somehow wins out? Nah dude that doesn't happen.

😂 This is DEFINITELY 1vX. Your armor? The rocks and trees. Your defense, epic dodge roll. LOS, pop 2 heals and HOTS, tank on your Rune. It’s beautiful. But I favor a crit build and charge with 10% damage from off balance.
