I would love a video on a break down on how each deck works and maybe even how to combo certain decks together.

I've never played these card games and have no idea what is going on with the cards . I have only been using patrons and it's confusing for someone when hasn't played something like magic or Pokemon games. Still just latin for me

I really liked that you emphasized limiting your deck and keeping what’s there potent. That was something going over my head - I just kept wanting to spend all my gold for the sake of it - like I would be at a clear disadvantage if I didn’t buy everything. It all makes sense now. Though looking back - it’s weird to see how that was obvious in retrospect. A card taken from the river is a card added, and that might not be good for you. The Pijic deck is also my least favourite and I tend to avoid it. I try focus on no more than 2 decks in a game, and hopefully the tavern gives lost of them for me, which is often not the case! Grrrr! Thanks for these great tips, they have really helped!! :)

I've said it for years. ESO is a complex game. The in game tutorials don't actually cut it. We need better instructional videos. Which is where content creators like you come in. The complexity actually keeps people from playing the game. We need a Gilliam the Rogue or content creator like you that explains things in great detail. Thanks for the information.

I just started ToT yesterday and I've played a lot of tcgs and a few deck builders too (mainly slay the spire), and usually the smaller the deck the better/more consistent it is. Also for my first impression, I agree that the psijic deck is not powerful enough, it only works with others, I've noticed that it works well with the crow deck cause you can draw consistently and potentially get an otk

Psijik cards can be cool when you have many "Draw another cards" in your deck. So play a psijik e.g. see the next 4 cards, throw the bad cards away and then play all the cards where you can draw new ones. Your chance of combos can get higher. But in general, great video like always ❤

You buy cards every turn only when you play around Hlalu, cuz you destroy them in exchange for prestige!

I like that this video covers what I've been seeing. I have won many games because players buy the crow way too soon. Iet them keep it and flip it late game for massive points.

Thanks for this mate. Edit: How do you get the green cards, I knownits by getting a patron (I think) but how do you collect them, I just have the standard 4? I'm on Xbox so haven't had a lot of time, but I'm starting to get the hang of it now. Everytime I take a break from the High isle zone quest I spend my time on the second island practicing.

What if your going for the trophy for ps5 obtained all cards?

On #2, i usually buy those "kill agent" contract cards just to get rid of them because my strategy relies on a lot of agents (druid king) and i dont want the opponent using that card against me next turn.

I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong as I'm still a beginner in tales of tribute but some reason I'll be stuck at 15 point with in 2 turns but yet the NPC opponent I was up against got 40 prestige within 2 turns defeating me I had this happen to me Three times in a roll by the same take of tribute NPC on the same day is their something I'm missing?

I love this video but I really think this needs mentioning somewhere. Some of those cards you buy from the tavern appear to go into your deck but never appear again

I’m avoiding Tales of Tribute because I found out I pretty much suck at the game. But hey - who knows.... maybe I’ll give it a chance again someday. I DID win a new deck a few days ago though - and that was just after a battle. 🤔

I’m sorry I have to rant like this but Zos deserves the feedback….okay with all the changes coming to the goddamn combat with them needing Mythics after the console release (which is EXTREMELY unethical by the way) as I play through the card game that I happen to be enjoying I come across daily missions to defeat a player. No biggie right? Wrong, I have come across SO MANY FUCKING PLAYERS where we spend 20 minutes playing and as soon as it looks like I’m about to win I mean right at the moment I’m about to win they quit the fucking game. So I think “no big deal it’s a win for me and a loss for them” apparently Zos had the great idea to NOT count that as a victory for your fucking daily. So I can basically never complete that daily. Zos, instead of nerfing into the ground Mythic items (which nobody asked for in the first fucking place” how about you restructure your card game (which also nobody asked for) rant over…

Yea, I just tried the tutorial and (on controller for console) they don't list the button mapping to play the game. I got pissed during the tutorial and realized if they don't have the time to explain how to actually play, I don't have the time to invest in it. I couldn't even exit the match and had to completely exit the game. Waste of time and effort.

This game of cards is just a matter of luck/unluck. Strategy or not, you can't do anything if often you don't have any good card to take from the table...lol😑 Btw your video is a very nice help when you have a decent game, thanks for share it 😊😉

I cant even win the novice round. Each game is stupidly long and complicated. Why couldn't they just imported GWENT to ESO :(

This has happened to me twice today. I have lost a game without losing to prestige. It came up as defeat and just showed the patrons beneath. I don't understand how that's a loss.

I will say one thing, Duke of Crows is absolutely broken, if you just keep stacking the purple no matter how much of it you have, its hard to bounce back from that draw card non stop combo. And the ex-WoW players will play that god awful Liar deck and spam you and never win, just sitting there trolling you. Its annoying

Biggest mistake is playing it, being ok with this slop while major mechanics in combat and in quests are not working. Pull your funds people and make them get this slop out of game and show these bums it’s not cool, if you like Pokémon then by all means go play it , just keep this crap out of my mmo

For those of you actually getting hooked on this dumb card game, I'd recommend not playing magic the gathering. That game is amazing and with a consistent circle to play with, is highly addicting and fun.

Ok - let’s be honest. It’s not a good addition. It’s visually boring, takes too much time and the rewards are pedestrian. I happen to like card war games. This is not a good one.
