ESO 610k Maelstrom Arena Magicka Templar - Ascending Tide (PS5/NA) 

Dynamic scaling. Most abilities now scale with your highest stats (max mag/stam, wpn/spell damage, wpn/spell crit). So Caltrops now does decent damage on magicka builds since it scales off of your max mag and spell dmg. Vigor is also a decent heal too for the same reasons. It's very weird, but I like that it opens up more options and new playstyles.

Blue Food - Max Health and Max Magicka

Frontbar: Camo Hunter, Radiant Glory, Barbed Trap, Resolving Vigor, Puncturing Sweeps, and Flawless Dawnbreaker. Backbar: Razor Caltrops, Channeled Focus, Ritual of Retribution, Blazing Spear, Unstable Wall, and Elemental Rage. I recommend dropping vigor for silver leash for speed though. This a safer (but slower) setup compared to what I've used in more recent vMA pushes.

Deadly Strike

@@ADG--fj2wr Do you think Sul Zan is good in vMA?

@@TalonNight Yes, I do! Unfortunately, I haven't acquired the weapons needed to do much testing. My guess is that it would be comparable to Deadly on magplar. On other mag classes, it might be a really good front-bar set. Only downside is that you have to be quick about grabbing souls. Not a huge issue, but can take some getting used to. Also, you have to be sure you can burn bosses down before the 5-piece bonus expires (30 seconds). For magplar, I think I'd stick with Deadly because it's such an easy set to use. Pretty sure Sul-Xan is the way to go for stam vma builds though since it's a medium armor set. So, a stamplar would probably do Sul-Xan/Deadly. Once I get some more perfected pieces, I'd like to do more stam runs. TLDR: Definitely Sul-Xan for stam setups, and potentially a good front-bar set for mag builds. Just need the gear to test.

I've been using BSW and Bahsei lately on sorc, double inferno. Also using Backstabber CP to help with nuking final boss. Not sure if that setup is optimal or not, but it did get me a similar time/score.
