the best free house in my opinion via the quest ´´room to spare´´ is the ´´Sugar Bowl Suite´´ in norther Elseweyr in RImmen. It spawns you right next to a wayshrine, right of it and up the stairs is the bank the crafting area is also just straight ahead.
I just achieved buying at least one house per zone with only gold. It may be an inn room or a notable house, but I am proud to have them. I have a few that are on the way to being decorated.
@@estebana912 when you preview the house, there is an option to see it furnished or unfurnished. Choose unfurnished and the price will be in gold if it is not a crown store exclusive.
Good look at purchasable homes with gold here : ) The home I use the most is Velothi Reverie in Deshaan. It's a mid sized Classic home very near to the West Narsis Wayshrine. It has a vendor just in front of the house, which is nuts useful if you don't own a personal vendor (the combo wayhrine very near + vendor at your doorstep is difficult to beat for me ;)) . As a house, it has a decent amount of slots for furnitures, two stories with several rooms, a basement and a courtyard. I visited more expensive homes, but I was never convinced, this is "the one" for me XD I'm saving to buy the Amaya Lake Lodge, which is zero practical in location terms, but I'm in love with the architectural style.
Really love the housing system in this game. It's the real End Game content. LOL I mainly use the Hall of the Lunar Champion as storage - I started decorating it but got distracted by the witches coven.... Then snugpod.... Haven't done much with any of them but they look like something from Hoarders and Storage Wars.
I just got back into ESO since like 5 or 6 years ago not knowing about the homes or furnishings. You are now my go to for all I don't know lol thank you
Nice overview for sure Jake! I'm a house-a-holic and own the majority of them. Not sure how it is on console, but there are some homes that a worth the extra crowns to get them furnished. More than offsets the cost of recipes and mats to make your own. Just my opinion of course.
As a new player, I never realized how useful picking up housing in each zone could be until I tried getting to new zones with my baby alts during New Life festival. 🤣
Thanks for this. I'm a new player with ESO Plus, and I love that you get crowns every month, but this was cool to see. I'd like to get more into housing and making my own stuff to decorate my house with, but I have no idea how to do that.
Leading with Capt. Margeaux's? Main DC much?! LOL ^_^ But seriously, for mid level ("Classic") houses, Sleek Creek house in Reaper's March is a great option as well: the entrance is just steps away from the Rawl'kha Outlaw's refuge, and Rawl'kha itself is a great option for doing daily crafting writs, particularly if you don't have a personal banker (no load screen). I wish VVardenfell had a house so close to the crafting stations and outlaws refuge! P.S. - don't turn in to a worm. That's just silly.
Purchase Daggerfall, Ebonheart and Serenity (by doing achievements) and you earn the Count title. I've only seen one person use that title back in 2015 and set it as my goal (which I achieved then quit ESO for eight years).
I traded 1.4mill gold (all I had) for psijic villa, 2 days later a storm crashed my xbox and I never got that 2200cp account back! Didn't bother me at all!
There are some great houses out there, just wish additional housing slots for furnishings could be available with either gold or crowns. I have Hundings Palatial Hall as my main and the deeper you go into the game, 600 slots just don't cut the mustard. You said on this week's golden vendor review that you have 900 slots in your house.....is that the max we can get? Maybe suggest a vid on the top 10 houses with the most slots? (Preferably buying with gold)! Cheers Jake, top man 👍
@@paulduffett7584 yeah upgrade from 200mbps on a series x the servers can't handle it when you have multiple interactive and custom built furnishings it's a well known issue you must be super new to ESO iff you didn't know this already
I just bought Flaming Nix Deluxe Garret for 13k. Wonderful space for all my crafting stations and large enough to dress up for seasonal competions. Wish I'd done it sooner.
Please help [on PC or console] explain exactly how to find out your guild code for chat explanations as well as the ability to list the guild house as the official guild home in the guild info page for members. Please, hopefully, THANKU
And, of course.. thank you for this housing information. I was curious how to unlock the moon sugar.. uhm.. whatever with achievements.. If you have done or know about that?
I actually own all small rooms, all small homes, 3/4 medium size, 2 notables (non achievment houses) and 2 special event houses. All bought with gold except initial free room. Except Domus [My main storage] all have whole furnishing. I sleep each night in a different one, cuz i leave my toons near to bed always. I don't want them tired to fight and farm. I hate people leaving their toons in open overland is disgusting and disrespectful. And overall: They are my travel network, focal node on Cyrodilic Jungle House, to me, the must house any player need buy at first sight.
you can actualy make a new character to get all the inns for free and doesnt matter on alliance just dont activate the quest starter untill your in a city that has one like if your in ebonheart pact you can still get the summerset inn room
I did :)! Although I might make a second one now that we have some additional info - here is the initial video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kvGIcmyEJ6I.html
make sure to stuff all the furnishings in there before plus expires; your furnishings limit and personal bank space are boosted with plus, the limits will drop when it expires.
I don’t necessarily need free houses (free is good though) but I would love more affordable houses. I feel like every time they add a house it’s a bajillion crowns or over a million gold (unless it’s a inn room). I don’t have much of either so it makes it hard to get into housing :c
Ah. Jake is talking about dumping grounds for my "smart long term investment" aka all the furniture I buy from the luxury vendor and then forget to resell.
For the free inns it doesnt matter what alliance you are just use a new character and use a waypoint from a new game and go stand in front of the inn that you want then go into the crow store and activate or purchase the free "room to spare" quest. Takes a new character or one that hasn't claimed the quest yet cause it's per character.
