I remember my first anchor in Stonefalls. It was just my healer buddy and I. What a fight that was. The intensity of it and this music sold the game for me.
My first Anchor was in the last beta test..... Atleast 50 of us were there just annihilating everything in our paths..... What a day it was in Stonefalls!!!
Mine was in Reapers March, I was (and still am) a noob at the game, and I killed a few daedra, but it was over in a moment because of all of the pro gamers. Haha

For those who all played skyrim (possible spoilers). In the dlc dawnguard you can find an NPC in the soul carin who actually experienced the invasion at the White gold tower.
That's pretty cool. I found a guy who actually been dared into going near an oblivion gate in the oblivion crisis. They're both similar stories of tragedy as a result of an oblivion invasion and being in the wrong place at the wrong time lol.
TESO is made during the 2nd or 3rd era, before the oblivion crisis happens. This is when Molag Bal managed to enter the realm and enslaved mortals. the 3 alliances also exist in TES lore.
van lao TESO was in the 2nd Era, Oblivion, Daggerfall, & Arena were in the 3rd. Skyrim is in the forth. & yes, that was actually legit (I can't remember the name) but that thing stated that it remembered being at the White Gold tower while Bal's invasion happened, which was 2000yrs prior to Skyrim.
Love this part of the soundtrack. Fighting a Dark Anchor as a tank all alone with this music playing, there is nothing like it. It looks so much like a heroic knight fighting the forces of hell itself in an attempt to save the world. Then you most likely die because there are 5 of them and one of you, that and you are level 15 at a level 16 dark anchor or something.
And then after a few months when you walk to an anchor, same music in the background, and you know there lies no force in Oblivion that can match you. Smash the ground with the dawnbreaker as the last boss drops to the ground and the anchors crumble
Listening to this while standing outside a dolmen gets your blood fired up. You want to wade in but if you are by yourself then best to hide and just listen to this great theme.
@@VelociraptorsOfSkyrim idk. I never had problems after a certain Level. But could be. In the beginning i couldnt stand a chance either but as u Progress dolmens are anything but hard.

When I found my first dark anchor, I was right nearby and when the sound played I'm just like "Now what...?" Turned around and there was a menacing cloud formation with a giant void in it. I was like, "So that's one of those Dark Anchors...? This should be easy..."
I miss this version of the theme after they replaced it with the morrowind patch remix. That, and the old difficutly with both these and open world content before One Tamriel, when the difficutly even at higher levels was nuked, and the old Molag Bal fight before that at well.
this song often put me in hype once I hear it... at first was cool fighting with other ppl but then starting hunting alone these and was even epic fighting alone :D
The first time i heard it, it was against my very first Dwemer Centurion. Then, with Merric-at-Aswala, fighting in the forge against undead. And finally, when i bumped into an Anchor in the wild and began defusing it, with other players dropping by and helping me. Every time the music played, i felt like i could take on wave after wave of enemies.
I've battled Molag and his forces all of the way until champion rank now years after I got to Vet Rank 2 beating Molag for the second time ever and this theme doesn't get old to this day! The glory of taking the fight to Molag shines like the finest gold!
The second you hear this theme you know your in a truly legendary game...even years later after mastering mouse and keyboard controls and doing gaming achievements I never imagined I would be able to do... The Elderscrolls is still glorious!
I've returned to the dark anchors recently I got this game on my new computer and it RUNS incredibly well! Elder Scrolls online is BACK and I'm on the hunt again for Molag!
I have reached an entirely new level when it comes to Dark Anchors Enemy of Coldharbor and Daedric Lord Slayer are finally mine as I reached all new speed heights in destroying both versions of Molag Bal only one Title remains when it comes to the Dark Anchors and its the most prestigious Anchor title of ALL Savior of Nirn. To defeat EVERY Anchor in ALL of Tamriel only 3 Anchors remain and they are in Cyrodiil I slay them the title and this theme are with me as is the dream of being one of the ULTIMATE enemies of Molag Bal!
I have found and defeated Molag at last once again and reached Champion Rank! (The Vet System I knew is completely dead there is no reaching it it no longer exists I have CONFIRMED it) This music still exists however and its GLORIOUS to this day! Leveling at Champion Rank ALSO exists but it works significantly different from the old system it has strong resemblance to one of its ancestors Skyrim!
The only special thing about this game is, that it actually is more fun to play, as other MMOs. And by that i also mean the grandfather of MMOs: World of Porncraft and don't forget Guildwars 2, which i got bored after 20 hours ingame, because it somehow wasn't entertaining enough for me. Something was missing in Guildwars 2, what ESO got right and i srsly don't know what it is. Well atleast that's my opinion.
Now that I've learned this game can run on PS4 controls I can play it like never before this game has reached a whole new level of greatness for me now..Haha Dark anchors bring on the battle...let the adventure COMMENCE
