Nearly a year later and OakenSoul is still the best by a landslide. Hellish to farm for, especially the vents filled with one-shotting enemies, but man it's worth it.
You put #16 the same as #15 in your video and showed us the Torc twice when talking about the shape shifters chain but explained everything great thanks for the video :D
100% agree on the Oakensoul Ring, I play PvE as a crafter/fisher/beginner trader but also like to dungeon dive and this ring has literally saved my life at least a hundred times over 🤣
I swear, I learn something new with every video. Just finished leveling scrying/excavating but haven't gotten many gold leads though. Didn't know they were called mythicals. There is so much to learn and enjoy in this game. Wish I was leaps and bounds ahead in the knowledge arena, but am still enjoying the journey.

Not all of the gold leads are mythics, and you'll have to do certain things in certain places to have a chance of getting the lead for each of the 5 pieces of a mythic. I'd suggest googling leads for whichever one you're trying for because you're unlikely to get all 5 leads for a given mythic randomly.
I ended up researching Pale Order as I already collected Oakensoul. Pale Order is indeed among the best in slot items. However the bloodthirsty trait can be applied to craftable rings which made it more appealing to me.
@@Zakattack457 deconning or researching cause an item to be lost regardless. We research an item when we need to learn its trait. We decon an item to get some of its materials back.
Been farming leads as they pop up. Not knowing what they are to most of the time. This actually helps me decide to play with my ring of the pale order and finishing farming the leads for oakensoul.
As a launch player, healers originally was going to be a Stam before it was obvious DC needed more healers, there's many ways you can use 2 5 pieces, monster set, and a mythic. If you're using proc sets like transmutation, you can run 3 piece jewelry or gear, 2 for resto staff trans so that will only be able to proc on your resto. Run 3 piece Kynmarchers with a desto kynmar. Plus the 2 piece monster, that's 10 out of 12 pieces used, can still run a mythic, and a master, maelstrom, etc weapon by putting one of the 2 5 pieces on the gear or jewelry. You can effectively run monster, mythic, master/etc, and 2 5 pieces. When I don't have it completely put together, I'll even run a random 2 piece for something extra until it's done.

As soon as developers realized that the Thrassian stranglers were any good at all, they nerfed them so hard that 2 5piece gear sets and no monster helm does more damage

Thank you. Great video. Even though I am high in skill level with my main character, I never farmed mythical items a lot. I have done 2-3 leads on a lot but never got any. My fighting mechanics is not the best either because of pain and health/memory issues but ill get better. I will shoot to get the top 2 you mentioned. They do sound great!
Definitely a list from a PVP perspective. Sea Serpent's Coil would be in the top 3 from a PVE perspective. Thrassian Stranglers goes down into the bottom 10 because if you zone, it gets reset. So if you enter a dungeon, no more buff. And even on live, Oakensoul Ring is around 6 or 5 on my PVE list. You can't do end game with the ring, so it's out of the top 5. Same with Ring of the Pale Order, since that incentivizes solo or duo play. Oaken next patch does down to 9 or 10. Not horrible, but not good and definitely not worth the downside unless you don't have a better mythic or monster helm set, and you either can't or refuse to bar swap (ping, or disability).
Oakensoul is absolutely op, but it's not invincible. I like the challenge of finding builds for it, and ways to defeat it. I wish they'd just leave it as is.
Belharza's Band increase the damage with ticks of light atack with lightining staff? when u press the atack button, and the stave tick 3 light atacks before the final heavy atack.
Your Lefthander’s aegis bane’s comment shows that you know nothing about pvp. This prevents dots, channeling attack and aeos. Templar execute cannot be dodged. Arcanists whole skills cannot be dodged. That mythic deserves better spot.
Good info, but every time you said the wrong word or added syllables to words it hurt my ears and brain: primarily "Mythical" instead of "Mythic", also "Elleneffray" instead of "Ehlnofey", "Aurora" instead of "Aura" etc. Look at the words before you upload man! 😅
You pick up leads in various ways, sometimes from combat, sometimes from gathering materials, sometimes in chests, etc. To make a lead turn into something, e.g. a piece of a mythical item, you have to scry for the lead. Scrying is a skill line available in the Greymoor expansion and consists of scrying leads and then digging them up - I think the whole system is called the antiquities system. To find the quest that teaches you to scry and excavate antiques, go to the Antiquities headquarters in Solitude (handy tip, Bastion loves scrying and Mirri loves digging up antiquities, so swap out companions as you scry then dig).
