ESO PvP - New Battleground Game Mode's Are Out! - [Battleground Chronicles] 

I have a feeling that they will bring back the original battle grounds very soon.

This is a great change in the right direction, some tweaks and ESO will finally have a competetive side to PvP

Happy Birthday! Oh, I think the devs absolutly knew what would happen, just ignored the potential issues. Getting in a match and sit for 5 min doing nothing. Only to be kicked. I like to believe they wanted perfectly balanced group sizes on first day. That said, overall, I am pleased with the BG changes. Some adjustments should be made in regards of some maps' sizes and the queue time. What I find, from playing non-stop a few hours of new BG (solo 4 and 8), is that people that are decent or really good at pvp play style will dominate all maps regardless objective. Players that are afraid/got bad builds/don't know what to do, will decide which group wins. And worst balance has to BG under level 50. Inexperienced pvpers are absolute carpet targets. And if one side is rewardedd by agressive playstyle, ie, can kill and heal more then the other team, it can go one-sided real fast. What I think is a problem is that people that can't t pvp, still can't and now they can't be carried if the other team has more experienced players. I would like to see some other types of structures down the road. Well, let's see how this turns out. I like it enough, love the new maps and the need to actually do different proper pvp builds. However, I hope for improvements. Still a 7/10 rating.

When everyone starts with zero mmr is natural for this stomp matches to happen at the beginning. This is the same as someone making a new toon and going bg the first few times.

I think it’s too early to make broad complaints - if there is a ranking system, i would expect that mmr/rank will settle in over the course of the patch, but not on the first day.

Has to be said that the idea of 8v8 is good... the application though? i've played on the map you did and the alik'r one too, and while the alik'r one is much better they still feel a little weird. like, that breton one is just too small and open so sticking as a group becomes survival instinct for people.

This favors heavily the casual player who just want to run in Ballgroup. Personaly i think its a terrible choice the bg are way to small and the difference in teamcomps (for example one healer in 4vs4 match) is way higher then before

They need to fix the booting players issue if 16 players don't fill up the match. Had it happen for my first match. 4v4 works better, though. Chaos ball is trash in this mode because 1 team will grab the majority of the balls and sit in spawn with healers making it near impossible to make a comeback. The balance is also currently out of whack because everybody has been reset to 0 MMR.

The 4v4 will be dead. To many one side battle every game. The 8v8 feels more like fighting solo next to Zergs which is what I do anyways in PvP so I didn’t mind it as much.

The groups last night were so unbalanced.

No one like to fight premades even other premades you all said you want ranked competitive play but you really dont you want to steam roll pugs thats why 4v4 has already failed.

6vs6 would have been better than 8vs8. Maybe they'll change it next year who knows.

New BGs are shit. I spent 2 hours queuing last night just to have 2 games due to the last player never joining. The games are always 1 sided. Deathmatch is crap, as soon as 1 team wins the first fight the losing team just sits in their spawn wasting everyone's time. The old BGs 1 player could carry their team, its not possible anymore to do this. I haven't had a single game where either team made a comeback so its GG within the first minute or 2
