Gg. Really smart to break them up into categories because that is a huge part of what you will experience in pvp. I’m a solo player as well, never do ball groups, or groups in general. I try to make every class work and feel i do a pretty great job. MagCro being the exception (not fun lol) I am kind of shocked about the Warden ranking tho. The front and back bar arena weapons meta pretty much carries the damage for stam warden, dk , and arcanist and people build into their natural tankiness. Good job overall.
Thats an insanely high rating for templar. Nobody plays templar anymore because its an average at best class. Great healing (DK, NB and Warden all have great healing as well), good execute but subpar damage on the front end. Templars have never recovered from the jabs, power of the light and burning light nerfs since they have never received any meaningful buffs to offset them.
Yo! If you're on Xbox NA, i'd love to join up with you for a Cryodiil or IC run. I've been using your latest DK build and LOVING it. Would be honored to have the theory-crafter himself rate my skill. hyped to watch the rest of this video tho. TY for sticking to ESO PVP and helping us out
PVP might be less "dead" if you didn't keep finding a yellow standing with a red and blue chilling or deliberately screwing you over, Or you didn't come across your "faction" in combat with "the enemy" who immediately disengage when you join the "fight", the scene is be
Necro needs an exicute at the very least. But it really needs more reliable buffs. Basically every other class has acces to most if not all of the games buffs built into there kits. Necro Basically only have major resolve. It has minor and major protection but they are not reliable what so ever. The class also need and good reliable stun.
They don't have anything else besides tankiness. For mobility, you need other skill lines (Psijic Order, Vampire). For executes, you need weapons skill lines. Their toolkit feels a bit lacking IMHO.
I’m a stamplar main, has been for my entire eso career starting back in 2013. It still feels real nice out here as stamplar in cyrodil and bgs. Also if you catch me in IC best of luck to you 😂
Solid tier list. I’d personally move both wardens up a level and drop both templars down a level. With that said I’ve not played Templar in years so they may deserve A tier now, I just know that I’ve ran across more good wardens than I have templars. Most templars that I’ve fought are just tanks with no damage these days.
That Templar ranking is insane. Templar is average at best, they have no upfront damage. Every try hard is going to play DK, NB Warden, Arc or even Sorc over Templar.
I don't think there are "Stamina" - "Magic" identities anymore. I just consider a class a class - "Stamplar" is still using Honor the dead as a burst heal over Rally like the old days. "Magic" characters should slot vigor and Dawnbreaker usually the best ult for most characters . I also feel your A tier is too crowded... I'd go S- NB & DK both classes have everything in their class tool kit from tanky, to burst, to combos, to great ULTs - DKs just have to find mobility outside their class skills since flappy flaps don't give expedition A- Warden & Sorc - Warden- their tool kit has everything you need to be tanky, burst heal, and burst. Sorc- has access to negate which is the biggest game changer in small group/ball group or anything really in cyrodil B- Templar - templar has a great tool kit but other then the ice comet, javelin, radiant combo it is stuck between a melee and range identity. C- Arc- great tool kit and shields but pvp is a little more challenging. You will be survivable as no other though and you can give great shield buffs. D E- Necro - class needs an overhaul just good survivability and fairly easy to sustain
I only run BG’s, but imo the Stamcro is slept on. With the Deaden Ghost carry you are at 23% damage mitigation. You also have good health pool, which allows me to dump 64 into Stam increasing damage. Add on the buff to poisons, letting me add more pressure. run a 2h focus build with Titans and Rally, it slaps.
Thank you for the video. Interesting rankings! Would argue with the magden placement, though. Speaking from personal experience here. If you follow the meta-guides for this class, it doesn't work well - mainly due to Wardens toolkit (the lack of good frost damaging skills and some passives). Some popular sets and skill are really questionable, too. Like, for example, the 'wall' skill and some sets like 'Frostbite' (at least, in the currently patch). But if you are creative, it can work really, really well. I main a Warden and have created an interesting build that doesn't use any of the above. It is frost (so, ice Staff), one bar. And it bursts amazingly. Goes well against most met-builds and I never feel 'weak' playing it. I feel like some people are just sleeping on some very good sets.
Ive made something along the same lines, with Torugs pact + (any damage set). The burst potential is being slept on by many and its super fun catching people oof guard with a heavy attack/Torugs ice enchant/crushing shock :)
@@silverfox8484 For me it's the Icy Conjurer set that made the deal. I was initially sure of it to be just a meme. But it just clicked. Plus the Cliff Racer gives an extra 100 damage (or 400 if you proc it), so I usually get around about 1000 damage for just using my abilities. Fun times!
@@blueeyedwanderer7078 That sounds like loads of fun! might give it a go. Shame its a dungeon set as I play pvp almost exclusively, but might meke the exception!
Very debatable, good video but im just not ok with some ranking, putting stamblade in S while stam dk is barely A, it is actually the other way around, stamblades are using a bow because it got buffed and the Crit+kajhit build but its for actual thumbless soulless, if you "spam" cloak you will run out of mag + you still getting hit by some skills and CCs + you still need to position urself because its only 3s and the class is way less tanky than most classes. Im ok for a increase in the cost like Mist Form but then put it at 4s or its useless. Radiant Glory - Fatecarver - molten whip are skills WAY more power full because dont get me wrong I do advocate stamblade but the class is very strong. My issue is when you dont take in consideration the efforts and risks you take compared to a templar or an Arc. Cloak Can be a problem if you have the reaction Time of a terminal stage grandma when StamSorc zap CC is THE most annoying skill in the game (doesnt requier any skills btw), some skills just needs some actual nerfs Still liked the video Big luv
For the Necromancer, it should be, if you cast it a second time, it should immediately explode. And thenlonger its out searching for a target the damage shouldnat least increase. I also, wish that there was a stam, physical morph to the luminous shard, it could be a rain or hail of smaller shards from the sky say roughly about 4 or 5 shards. The magicka morph, blazing shard or whatever its called can stay the same as a singular large shard that dose aoe dot, but they could move the healing of rhe luminous shard to it or half rhe healing and add it to both the magicka and physical morphs
@Badchocobo i been having issue on what weapon fit for him and only one that it feel right is with fire staff, what your opinion about what weapon fit on him and no lightning staff which lot of people say it fit for everyone but it doesn't, all my classes have their different weapons.
@xboxgamerz22 I'm a little unorthodox. Cause for my magplar, I use 3h or duel wield dagger n mace. On Necromancer, unfortunately, lightning or ice staff would be best, but depending on what you want to do with it, in pvp, you could use sword n board with ice staff or 2h n ice staff, even 2h/ SnB and resto could work. But overall, it can use any weapon you choose. Necromancer biggest problem is that it can survive almost anything, but it's lacking bust or sustainable damage, so you spend a lot of time defending than killing when you play solo. Group play, you have time to line up all your bust and cc. So if in Group play do what feel good for you. Solo play lightning and ice will give the most damage.
So against two necros you would have to deal with like 4 bone-men jumping on you with each dealing like 7k damage? I dont think that would work honestly
@@Zulunbaki I mean I would prefer them just forcing you into like 10-15 sets approved for pvp but I’m sure that wouldn’t be popular. I would rather have more than 1 style of play be viable regardless of how they do it. I will take 20 blast bones flying at me if it gives me a different build option than 35khp mega sustain dot sets
Hey glad you enjoy the content, yeah the StamSorc builds are still viable, I’d go the 2W builds and use the Blood Craze morph of Twin Slashes that heals you
Magden asylum ice staff users rise up. We gettin outta D tier and to A tier with this one. You'll stomp both turbo sweats on dot builds and the pugs all the same. Stamden small group is beyond S tier, it's probably the best or 2nd best in the game. DB, shalks combos timed with the boys will delete sweats and pugs with no discrimination. Not to mention heal stacking with budding seeds and polar wind. Especially if you have a templar or multiple stamdens in the group. Terrible zerg class tho Yes I'm a bit of a warden enthusiast :]
Imo with the builds I’m seeing in cyrodiil, Arcanist is S++, DK is S, NB is S, Templar is C, no sustain or damage gets carried by beam, Sorc is A, no healing but streak is op, Warden is B, insane healing i haven’t played warden to fully judge it but they are tanky af, Necro is F doesn’t have anything good it feels like
Putting a ramp on cloak is a dumb idea because its already impossible to sustain as it is. Even with good recovery vamp light armor you can cast it a few times and your mag is done. Also rip to stamblade They already gave a huge nerf to cloak with detect pots
Every “good” (still cowards) nightblade ive played against proves that sustain comment wrong. These people will be tanky and do so much damage for no reason and will still have more than enough gas in them to combo you again.
All I want for necro is to have permanent summons. Every time I think of necro, I think a summoner type of class, but this…wow totally opposite (not in a good way).
I main stamplar and I'm saying it's B tier it's average unless I use master dw and cheese proc sets the damage is just wet the jabs suck and the mag sustain unless I wear wretched the sustain is rough so forces 1 play style.
Templar damage can definitely struggle at times, but what I forgot to mention is how fun and immersive the class feels to play, because I’ve played all the classes and some of the play styles are horrendous to play
Was hoping that I'd watch this to figure out what the best tanking class would be. Respectfully saying this was soo unhelpful... furthermore you insulted MYYY PRIDE AND JOY NIGHTBLADE. I'm sure you'd feel the same if the ESO community demanded to nerf DK to the GROUND.
That'd be cool, especially if my pc conks out and I don't have enough funds for a new pc but enough for a console. (Makes me cringe saying that! Not against console, just want my pc to stick around!)
