ESO Solo Arcanist Build EASY MODE - Vet Vateshran Run! 

Hey thanks! Always great to get an enthusiastic comment! This is a relatively small channel all things considered. I would love to be putting videos out every single day, but as a chef with three kids, availability isn't in abundance. That being said, I gain new subscribers every day, and I'm happy with a slow and steady growth rate! Right now, it's a bit slower because the kids are off for the Summer, but after next week I'll be back to my absolute video a week minimum, usually more!

My mistake, I should have included that! I just pumped all attribute points into magicka. With the constant shields and healing, not much health is needed.

Definitely all of the passives from skill lines being used. Generally, focus on class passives first, then weapon passives, then armour passives, and then anything else that's relevant.

@@CernyGaming Thank you for the info! And I'm really sorry for asking, but do you have a written-out list of what champion point things you grabbed? Or is there a UI add-on that makes them easier to search through?

Hi there buddy, thanks very much for that! Inferno and Lightning staff are both viable, but I went with Lightning because the passives better suit the build. I forgot to edit that part on the gear sheet, my bad! Thanks for letting me know. I'll pop the edit in the description so others know. All the jewellery has magic damage glyphs. Front bar weapon has flame damage, back bar is weapon damage.

@@CernyGaming To be clear, you use light staff for front and ice for back bar?

That would be me being a dumbass at the time, sorry about that buddy - I appreciate you bringing that to my attention! Yes, go with the Shadow on this one. I say Thief on so many of my videos that I guess I just went into auto-pilot!

It's the Pale Order ring that does it. It combos perfectly with Pragmatic Fatecarver, allowing us to heal a ton by dealing damage while also getting a shield to do so safely. Perfect for solo content! I love being able to skip the ring mech. If you pay attention on I think the second one, I accidentally port back into the middle of it! Manage to get through the portal once more before it blows. Big angst moment!

@@CernyGaming Yup pale order was a great idea with fatecarver, I just got unbroken vigor + strength from within on the same run.

Hi there! First thing's first, sorry about the gear visibility. I've recently discovered that, on some devices, it can be tricky to see the writing. In future videos I will account for that. For now, it's Slimecraw, Mother's Sorrow and Order's Wrath on a 5/1/1 weighting, with both weapons being Order's Wrath, plus the Ring of the Pale Order. All gear Divines, big pieces Prismatic Defence, small Max Magicka. Jewellery all Infused with Spell Damage. Weapons both Inferno with Precise, front bar Flame damage back bar Weapon damage. I think that's all the info you need? If not, just ask. As for the variation - I'll give an honest answer. There will be no other approach that offers the same balance of extreme survivability and extreme damage. The beam provides a shield, and the high constant damage it deals provides healing via the Ring of the Pale Order. It's the perfect combo. In the video, you can see that the majority of my run through Vet Vateshran Arena was spent face tanking everything while attacking, and that is nowhere near as viable with any other attack. Of course, other classes have run Ring of the Pale Order successfully long before Arcanist was a thing, and it is done by simply dealing as much damage as possible. Runeblades deals nice damage as a ranged spammable and will provide good healing through Pale Order, but it will pale in comparison (sorry for the pun) compared to the beam I'm afraid. Play around with your options and see if anything works better for you, but for me, the beam was second to none by a really long shot.

I'm not a fan of Ansul, but jf jt works for you then on paper that's a good setup.

I think it's ansuul that does 20k+ crit damage constantly for me with the beam.. the highest damage output i get is on that build with velothi... with oaken i get below 20k crits.. in group content crits hit 30k+

Hi there, and welcome to ESO! If you take a look at your skills, you will see that they cost a resource. Either magicka or stamina or, in the case of Dragonknight Molten Whip, both. You have a max resource pool of these two stats. As you level, you can assign attributes to one kf these stats. Gear sets and enchantments also boost these stats. It is best to choose one resource to specialise in, and choose mostly skills that cost that resource. All skills scale with your highest stats, but their cost stays the same. In the case of Arcanists only, some skills change their cost to match whichever of your resource pools are higher.

@@geraltgrey-mane695 Not necessarily. Because your skills scale with your max stats, you can use daggers on a magicka build if you wish, and in fact many DPS players do. Using dual wield skills won't be viable because they cost stamina, but the passives that grant extra weapon and spell damage or extra stat boosts for the weapon type you're using will apply. That means you can slot magicka skills on the dual wield bar and enjoy the higher stats from the passives. It's also wise to use a staff on the back bar to give you access to the Destruction Staff skills, such as Unstable Wall of Fire.

@@CernyGaming Yeah thats what I thought, (Staff skills more Mana focus vs Daggers more Stam focus :) But didnt know about the passives tho!! I heard the passive is whats makes or breaks a build in Eso?

Hi! Thanks for your comment! We don't use that setup here for a few reasons. With my setup, you won't need armour sets to heal you or gain shields, because you heal and gain shields by doing damage. That means we can build for damage instead. With a one bar build, you will not have space for some useful features, such as Fleet Footed Gate. With my setup, you can and will achieve vastly higher DPS, which translates to vastly higher healing. The result of all of this is that, for those searching for achievements, leaderboards, or speed runs for gear, my setup will be best. This setup will demolish things extremely fast, allows for better mobility and versatility, and will get people through content faster. Oakensoul is great for one bar pet sorcs and templars, but for Magicka Arcanists using Pragmatic Fatecarver and looking to point push, speed run or quickly farm gear, this setup is best.

This build will absolutely smoke any world boss. Like, completely humiliate them. It can stroll through vet Vateshran without a care in the world, so a world boss has nothing on this.

The class has crazy built in sustain.. with passives that synergize with skills being used and it grants resources back constantly.

Arcanists are capable of a lot. With the rotation being a few skills long plus the lengthy cast time on Fatecarver, there's tons of time to recover the lost stamina.

@CernyGaming I regret not going my usual Breton mag setup then >.> I went Stam dark elf thinking sustain would be bad if I used a Stam spammable on mag setup

It's a matter of preference. I went all magicka, but some players will want some health.

In this case, no. You are capped at 125% on crit damage to start with. We don't need any more on this one.

Of course! It's fairly straightforward and easy to manage. Buff up before combat, being sure to activate Recuperative Treatise. Start with tentacles and hit Runeblades. The extra Crux from Treatise should mean you have 3 active, at which point you hit Fatecarver. The rest of it is really that simple. Weave Runeblades until you have 3 Crux, then hit Fatecarver. Use tentacles whenever the timer gets low on the Abyssal Ink debuff or if the enemy is very low on health.

Well, whether or not it is best can be subjective depending on what you want. I'm not saying this is better or worse - both are excellent and far beyond viable, so choose based on preference.

I'm not a fan, but the great thing about this game is its diversity. Try it out, see how it works out for you!
