A manometry is a torture test for the patient, caused me PTSD. And a panic attack, I've had nightmares from this. I cried, screamed, and chocked, bloody nose, with no numbing beforehand. I also wrote a complaint to the hospital. I've been through a lot of major surgeries and medical test, but nothing compares to this horror of a experience. Find another way. Very inhumane. Just a head's up, hoping that it may help changed the way this is done for folks.
I definitely agree! This was one of the worst things I've ever gone through in my life. Maybe the office I went to still uses the old catheters he was talking about.
