Esox Diaries | S2 Episode 5 Part: 1 | How to (badly) Dress a Pheasant | Game Catch and Cook 

With our Pike fishing currently experiencing a catastrophic spiral into the depressing deep abyss of the continuous 'blank', where anglers begin to consider unthinkable thoughts, like Carp fishing or even Golf, we thought it a perfect opportunity to experiment in a possible new avenue for the channel.
Although fishing will continue to be the primary component of Angling 360, we have previously considered a foray into the world of Game and Shooting, to complement our philosophy of embracing Catch and Cooks, vegetable growing and foraging of wild plants and fungi.
We believe that activities such as these are integral to gaining an appreciation and respect for the outdoors and for the food that we often take for granted. They require the same levels of commitment and motivation, and offer the same levels of satisfaction as our beloved sport of Angling.
In part 1 of episode 5, with Pike safely off the menu, we take on a new challenge and begin to prepare a rather special lunch for our next Pike fishing blank.
