A quick unboxing video of ESP E-II EX NT guitar in Snow White finish. I'm not skilled in talking about the guitars, so this video is focused on some close-up shots and my thoughts about this ESP-beauty only. :)
This E-II EX was produced in May 2023. I thought also that only the new E-IIs models, which were launched in 2023, will have stainless steel frets. But when this guitar arrived, I compared it with my older E-IIs (nickel frets) and also with EC-1000 (stainless steel frets) and... yes, this one has definitely Stainless Steel frets. And this is something that you can feel during playing on it. But about 1 week ago or so, ESP said that all E-II models will have now stainless steel frets, so it seems that they have started to prepare the stock in 2023.

@@cshades8026 I ordered mine in January 2023 and I received it 9 months later - in October. So it took a while to get this beauty... But I keep my fingers crossed so you can get it as well. 🙂

@@captaincam0730 Here are the answers: 1. Well, I had LTD Snakebyte for a while and I can tell you that the weight of E-II EX is slightly lower than the weight of Snakebyte. If you will take two these guitars and try to compare it, then Snakebyte will be heavier, but not so much as its shape would suggest. 2. Yes, E-II EX is smaller than Snakebyte, but the horns (you know, those sharp endings of the shape) are almost matching eachother on the same places. The only difference here is that the Snakebyte is convex, where EX is concave. But I must say that IMHO EX is much better guitar than Snakebyte. It's about the craftsmanship, attention to details and comfort of playing. A few examples: Snakebyte is an awesome guitar if you are going to play standing, but it's not so comfortable when you will play/practice sitting. Besides that E-II EX has a 305 mm radius, while Snakebyte has 350 mm radius. For me 305 mm is a must-have thing. My LTD Snakebyte had some imperfections in finish, which were quite visible and were frustrating, while E-II EX is just a one pure perfection. 🙂 I believe you should try both of these guitars and decide yourself. If you have a chance to visit some local store, where you can find these two guitars, then it will help you a lot in making a decision.
