You definitely have loads of pride in what you do and it shows in just how long it takes to do a proper setup. The guy you fell out with got the short end of the stick. I do wish you were in the states my friend . Guitar center will have to do for now while I’m learning so I don’t jack up my guitar. Very informative n in depth, much appreciated.

In the US, we call them LTD, spelled out and the pretty good ones come stock with ESP 81 and 85 humbuckers. LTD is pretty good guitars and tolerably priced, especially if lightly used at a SamAsh in the state of Virginia.

75£ is a great deal. I live in America and I sent my mandolin to luther and it was around$300 for setup. You get what you pay for. Love the video.

I just ordered my first Ec 256-fm Vintage it comes in a couple of days / now I’m wondering if I’m going to have all these problems now. They look like really nice guitars but what’s up with the craftsmanship don’t they do proper set ups before they leave the factory. Isn’t that what there suppose to do check them to work properly before they ship them out ???

What would you say is the best cheapest set of start up tools ( since I just blew all my cash on the same guitar your working on in the video) that are good enough to get by until I can afford a better set. Thanks

I've had this guitar since like 2015 or so, and took it to a tech and said that it needed a fretjob. He also said that the job may cost around the price of the guitar itself, which I paid around $300 for. So he made it seem like I was better off just buying a new guitar. I may eventually attempt doing the job myself, but right now I'm just trying to get it setup and I was wondering what size of allen key does the guitar need?

Which color is your guitar? Looks like my ec256, but on internet it looked more blue, but when it arrived, its a lot darker, is like yours, i like it but i wanted to know why. Is your ec256 a blue cobalt one?
