@@BosGaurus05 That's not how color theory works. You can be colorful but clashing shades of the same color are generally neither intentional nor wanted. They just couldn't be bothered to match their colors between materials cause it's frankly a lot of work and costs a lot more.

It's actually very beautiful especially for the price range. It's pretty sad that I don't dig gloss finishes (would appreciate it tho if it's a satin finish just on the neck). Just like the Holcomb PRS, this strays away from the typical "budget" signature guitar which only retains aesthetics but is nothing like what the artist plays *cough cough Jackson Juggernaut Pro models cough cough*

Eian Carlo Arellano I liked satin finishes before I got a king V and now I'll never get a guitar with ever again. My guitar is full of shiny spots and the neck has had the satin finish buffed away from constant playing.

Since you are the "Official" ESP reviewer I would love to see a review on the ESP E-ii M1 NT. It is a real ESP but stripped down and simple. It's the same guitar one of the guitarist for Parkway Drive uses. It looks awesome👍

It's Gary Holt so of course it's sick so lol. You should check out some of the cheaper models like the EC-256 :). Really great instruments for under 500.

To be honest, I too am a disciple of LTD LP shaped guitars, and have long outgrown my Floyd Rose phase of 30 years ago. I saw Exodus in San Francisco in 1986; and Gary Holt is one of my thrash faves. Glad you did this review ( I thought it'd be inevitable actually lol). Time to save some cash and get me a GH600NT! Thanks again. Aguthrash?

I LOVE ESP/LTD guitars! My favorite for sure. I find the necks extremely comfortable. If you don't dig the EMGs, just toss a Seymour Duncan pickup in the bridge. ☺

If you want an Eclipse, but don't want to break the bank, go for an EC-50 or an EC-100QM. The stock pickups are pretty decent, but if you don't like them you can replace them with something else. I actually prefer the lower models, as they have the natural "unfinished" necks, which I find faster and better feeling than the painted necks. I'm not above owning a painted neck ESP, I just prefer the feel and look of the natural finish. I have the EC100QM in the amber sunburst, and it's a beautiful guitar that sounds good, looks great, and didn't deflate my financials.

@@kerryalfred6565 right you take it to jam or play ozfest or grandma's to play a lullaby 🤣 I Have 2 Les Paul custom custom shops I have a Jackson San dimas and 2 Charvel so cal San dimas I've had custom shop ESP Lynch's (3) and a Les Paul axcess This guitar goes toe to toe visually it doesn't have the Mojo of a Les Paul It's a shred Mojo visual but f*** it You're playing it It never comes out of tune the XJ frets are stoopid comfortable FAF 💥 I still want to get an m1 87 custom (20db boost) & the '87 Mirage deluxe is talking to me in pink so the price point the build quality nobody beats it. Doable unlike Gibson CS 😱 Enjoy

Have you seen the Dean CadiKILL ? Its Cannibal Corpse guitarist Rob Barrett Signature Model. They were made in 2007, hard to come by , but he said in a video the red inlay were hard to see under the lights. But I'm glad they're red :D

Love the new intro Hunter! The guitar is a beast too. Gary is my all time biggest guitar inspiration, very down to earth and humble too. Slayer could not have made a better choice. Awesome song too, very nice cross between Exodus and Slayer.

Agufish When they came through Pittsburg in early to mid 2000s, they were all really down to earth and happy to just chill with the fans. Even got to hang out on their tour bus with them. Still one of the best days ever!

Dick Baguette if he can find the ltd kh-DC I think he would like it. It's a double cutaway version of the eclipse. I don't think any US retailers have them anymore. He may have to get it imported from Japan.

Looks like they discontinued the LTD DC since it's not on the website anymore (maybe because it was ugly af lol). I've never seen much point in demoing the Hammett models, they're all KH-602s with different paint jobs right? I think the demonology has an 81 instead of a 60 in the neck, but they seem kind of boring to me. Maybe if I try one in person I'll see what I'm missing?

Agufish the KH-2s are the ones with all the different paint jobs, 602s are basically the same but LTD not ESP. My favourite guitar second to my Ibby Xiphos is my 602, looks understated but metal as fuck with the skull inlays, and the neck feels and plays great both for rhythm and lead. Worth playing at least once I'd say

You inspired me to get this guitar just for me to mess around with because I have a Strandberg Boden and SG stored for special events. I actually LOVE this guitar in every aspect (and so do my colleagues) and may have to keep it clean and buy yet another workhorse guitar.

This is fucking perfect. A couple of years ago I was looking at buying a new guitar, and the only - and I mean the ONLY - reason I didn't get this one was because it had a Floyd Rose, and I'm not a fan of locking trems as I like to change tunings a lot. I'm going to buy one of these later today

Hey man, it's the guy that plays Jericho again. You should demo the Edge NT or fusion they're both well under 1k, so it's your usual range. I just got the Premium Edge 7 string. While pricey, holy fucking pit does that thing rip. If you can try it, you will be blown away. The regular nt and others in the price range are still spectacular. They just released a few new models. Hi, about this specific instrument, THEY NEED WORK MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, played this guitar in a shop out of the box, and a few others of the exact same model. What they all had in common was extreme fret buzz. Fixable but annoying and can turn someone off of an instrument.(proof is in the pudding as they all have sat there on the wall for 3 months). However once pointed out and fixed by the tech there I walked into the shop a few days later played one of them (sounded great) and noticed all the others had sold. Spoke to another shop owner who is a official ESP dealer, who has said that it is fairly common issue especially on the version with the Floyd. Great instrument but be ready to give it a proper setup

Hey Hunter! Greetings from Germany again! Cool Video! Say, is it possible for you to demo the Hagström Super Swede? I always wanted a Single Cut Guitar but I don't really like the shorter Scale Length compared to e.g. a Strat... This one seems to get the Single Cut Style and the longer scale length in one guitar... Second Question: I want new Pickups for my Ibanez RG... Well, I was always a bit sceptical about active Pickups, but they seem to fit my Guitar very well... which EMG Set would you recommend for a guy, who likes the character of passive PUs but also the clarity of EMGs?

I used to have the Floyd rose version. It was sick! Since you're a telecaster guy, check out the AA600. It's a flat black, single emg 81 that ltd did for Alan Ashby. Side note, what are your opinions of blackstar amps?

So,i see enough, and hear enough, to get it....now it's ordered and here in a few days.... A question: do you guy also play a kemper profiler? Or just tube heads? In the past,i had so much tube heads,the heaviest one was a diezel herbert. An amazing Power machine. But near 40kg of weight and 180w of tube power are too much of good things sometime :-) I habe the kemper since 3 years now and i fu.... love it. It's such a mighty piece, for recording, as for playing live as well. Greetz

I have this same exact guitar running through a marshall dsl 20 head with matching 2x12 cabinet and even without a drive or distortion pedal It gets pretty brutal. The Ltd lines of axes blow epiphone away in every way and are almost on par if not on par with a lp standard.

Dude I loved the phenolic fingerboard of the Snow Falcon and the black Heafy sig so I'm all over this one... if I can find one. Lately we've been having trouble getting guitars. Lee Malia Explorer, Ben Burnley baritone, Ken Susi or Head's 7-strings with Evertunes and Fishmans... Been trying for months with no success.
