Trying out the ESP LTD KH602 Kirk Hammett signature guitar. EMG pickups, Floyd Rose 1000 bridge.
This is the guitar I purchased on Sunday With Ola.
Also this is the first time I shoot a video in V-Log which will show in the colors of the video.
I'm still trying to get used to working with it. And no I'm NOT wearing lipstick...

EMGs sound great with lots of distortion. They really start to feel weak when you use them on a clean channel or if you want lots of dynamics (they are very, very compressed).

I am a fan off signiture style guitars. If this is going to be a series, maybe stick to those types of guitars, hagstrom fantomen, wylde audio, dave murray fender, adrian smith sdx Jackson those sorts, maybe even make them into an artists rig of the week.

I'm usually not a huge fan of signatures, but I like that idea. Also this one, as well as James Hetfield's Snakebyte, are ok signatures because it doesn't look overly like their guitar. If you didn't know any better you'd think that was just a factory guitar

I remember having one of the firsts KH-602, in fact it was my first "pro" guitar. It was one that came with EMG 81/81, rosewood fingerboard and original floyd rose. Man, what a guitar that was. I had to sell it to pay some bills and I regret selling it, but I had to.

I bought a left handed version of this guitar back in december 2019. I absolutely love how it feels to play. The neck is so comfortable. It stays perfect in tune for a long long time. And the EMG's. Love them. For the price, it's a very good guitar with a lot of value in my opinion!

These pickups sound pretty amazing to me. A very slick yet heavy sound, like record ready without much tweaking. And somehow these LTDs/ESPs makes me extremely nostalgic. It’s like I’m back in -95 and browsing the Thomann catalogue at my friends house.

Bought this guitar in 2013. The left handed version (81/85 EMG's). Still playing it daily. One of the best ST out there. Versatile, with lots of gain itself and endless sustain (with a good setup). Great testing from Ola, cheers.

The LTD I recieved from Anderton's had an amazing setup as well. Lovely neck too. Honestly the best guitar Ive ever played imo. Really like esp.

HOLY SHIT! I NEVER thought I'd play something on guitar better/easier than Ola fkn Englund. That Master of Puppets. Thank you for making me feel superior for that brief second. I bought my ESP KH2 21 years ago and payed a few hundred less than what that ltd version gos for. Makes me feel damn good when i see any esp/ltd nowadays. Craigslist has saved me a shitload of money. Three guitars ive saved a shitload of money on. Thank you for this video. KH2 was my dream guitar when i first taught myself to play and its still my number one beast.

Wow,you absolutely nailed that oldschool Metallica tone on this video.About the Pau Ferro fingerboard: that is NOT a cheap type of wood,Suhr uses it on their super-expensive custom shop models. For example, Reb Beach has a Pau Ferro fretboard on his insanely expensive Suhr sign. models with the Koa body/top. And yeah,I concur, an EVH tribute would be cool.

Always had good experiences with the ltd series. Much more so than other brands/models of equal cost. It would likely be very useful for regular joes for some more signature model reviews. Thanks for all u do, Ola!

I have four LTD's. SC706B, F207, a Snakebyte, and an F400. All bought online with out playing them before. I've been lucky to instantly fall in love with them as soon as I tune them and start playing them. LTD makes a great guitar for the price.

I honestly love the bone breakers; they’ve got the grit and general voice of the 81/60 set, but Kirk’s ears tuned the pickups to have more high mids

When I was 17 1998, I walked into a music store in Modesto ,Ca and they had a real ESP Kirk Hammet M2 signature. I played my best slayer riffs on a fender practice amp, and the OG next to me stopped and said Damn! Slayer? I said yeah I'm just guessing by ear...he was like dude not bad. You make that little amp sound good. That was the best guitar I ever played at that point. Point being real ESP'S from Japan are rad!
