Here is some wish for the future. MQTT Node Red Connection for read and show some Variables ... and maybe its only a ideea, some alarm ring, with some pizo element at the esp82 what will make noise for weekup and some buzzer for close the alarm.

Thanks for the great project, is there a way to get an app that works because the ESP matrix no longer works, most of the tools are closed and the city is stuck in London, no way to change anything... Is there any pro version ?

My phone connects to esp8266 but when I connect to router my phones disconnected. Both phones and router cannot be connected simultaneously. Kindly help

First, thanks for the video; I have 2 questions: 1) I do not understand why connect Wemos directly on Smartfhone and not PC. 2) Is the matrix module FC-16? Thank you

Connect to smartphone for uploading firmware to wemos.

Some 4 unit modules are wired differently to an FC-16 module and give an upside down display. You can check this by mapping out the pins on the MAX7219 to the pins on the led matrix. A little tip...make sure there is 5 volts getting to all the 8x8 modules or the display gives erratic results.

I was just letting people know that there are differences between the 4 digit modules...some printed boards are the same as an FC-16 and some give an upside down display...they look great reflecting on a shiny black surface or a headup type display.

hi that's great project but I have problem with this when i programming the wemos and finish after 3 hours dot matrix display dont show current the data and wemos wifi turn off fast when i trun on the board please help me

Its not working I try both of them (APmode & NTC) and i cant find wifi net work . I try it on Nudemcu but without conect to ds3231 and matrix

@@BluinoElectronics I sent a mail to you but got no reply, my issues are: 1) I could not change city id, whenever I used my city id; it would not save it, all I would see was weather for London initially but later it started giving error for internet or wrong apikey. 2) I could not set GMT offset to 5.5 hrs as there was no option in app to set it to 5.5 hrs.

vivi 83200 oui j’ai coupé le wifi de ma box orange, et puis j’ai flashé et là il est reconnu. Ensuite j’ai reconnecté le wifi de la box. Par contre pour qu’il arrive à se connecter à la box il a fallu que je crée un hotspot wifi invité sur la box sans clé en mode ouvert. Et là tout fonctionne. C’est bien le wifi de la box qui pose problème dès le départ.

Hi, who can help me: -I loaded the firmware via otg; -the display shows the writing EM-3544; -I connect in wifi to the EM-3544 network; - then I choose the home wifi network to which EM-3544 must be connected; -the smartphone tells me that the display is connected to the home network but after a few seconds the display turns off, then the message EM-3544 reappears, then --AP-- and after that EM-3544....pls help me. thanks

Gan punay saya pake nodemcu esp8266 , ada kesulitan gngak bisa connect pas awalnay karena di layar nggak keluar kode EM xxx dan di hp juga tidak terdeteksi SSID si ESP. Namun saya akhirnya bisa connct via IP address. Nah cuma masalahnay muncul ketika mau update masukin youtuba api key , karena harus upgrade firmware dulu ya ? , ndahh saya coba upgrade via OTA nggak bisa gan ? di bilaangya permission denied . solusinay gimana ya? ...
