The hardest thing about watching the Indiana Fever is Christie Sides. Between her and Linn Dunn you just feel any real chance of winning is highly unlikely in the playoffs. I mean seriously the signings Dunn made were an absolute joke. Smith, Wheeler and Samuelson on max contracts....like WTF? 😂❤ And watching Sides sabotage Clark all year was just painful. Hopefully the owner decides $#@% this shit let's get some real talent in there.
I also learn recently that Fever waived Alana Smith (lynx) and Engstler (Mystic) which would have been perfect with CC, AB, Hull and Mitchel. I would hope the fever seriously pursue Maddy (Wings) or Howard (opt out from wings)
For a supposedly defensive coach, Sides doesn't understand team defense. Either she doesn't know WHERE, WHY, or WHEN her players should be in certain positions or she doesn't know how to teach it to her players.
I am more worried with what Christie Sides will do. Indiana Fever is the underdog but they have the potential to make the Finals. But with Christie Sides as the coach, the probability of the team to win the first series against Connecticut Suns is not that great and the Fever will lose the first two games.
Let's be realistic here! I keep comparing CC to Larry Birds entrance into the NBA because there are so many similarities. Larry Bird was drafted into the Boston Celtics that were in decline only wining 26 games in the prior season. Larrys first rookie year took the Celtics to wining over 60 games, second season took them to the playoffs where they lost to Philadelphia, then his third year took them to be world champions! I am only saying that at this point here, RIGHT NOW, Caitlin has surpassed the record of who is my personal favorite basketball player of all time, Larry Bird! Michael Jordan's Bulls were swept by Birds Celtics in the playoffs, TWICE! Think about that! Basketball is a "TEAM" sport and you succeed or fail as a team! If the Fever lose, NO BIG DEAL! Next year baring the GM making some really stupid personnel moves, should be in a great position to Win it all!!!

Do you really think an NBA team can win 60 games and not make the playoffs? lol. His rookie year Bird took the Celtics to the conference finals. For a fair comparison Clark would have to do the same and the Fever would have had to win 30 games! Let me guess: You’ve watched Bird highlites. You certainly never were a fan of his in that time.
It has nothing to do with being a rookie. CC has more experience in big games than most from the final four. Everyone has to step up an they will show their talent.
If Thomas and Carrington don’t injure the players right away, they might have a chance. I personally don’t believe they are are a strong enough team all around. They need better defense and experience. Whatever the case, they have played hard!!

She played like a veteran not a Rookie. Every team in W were so concern how to guard her. She is an elite player with so many weapons in her jersey. Clark will surely put on her CAPE and fly. And for Kelsey sonic shoes on the run

I agree with the margin of error. They gotta hit them layups, free throws, and open jumpers. Don’t give the ball away too much. And Caitlin can’t lose her cool if things get tough or there’s a bad call.

@@CarlosRen1776 The discussion about the margin of error being smaller for the Fever is because they are the underdogs so if they want to beat the Sun, they have to play a cleaner game. The favorite usually has a larger margin for errors.

Not hard to predict. The Fever will play there “hope they miss” perimeter defense, Hull will get in foul trouble. Carrington will make Clark have a bunch of turnovers. A Sun sweep.
