Really? I hated this theme and the accompanying color scheme of the graphics. I thought the themes before and after (all basically remixes of the same tune by John Colby) were better.
It’s amazing how a simple piece of music can instantly transport you back 15 years. This just reminds me of a college Saturday where the air is getting its first hint of the autumn chill.
This is the embodiment, spirit, and culture of college football. This is what the theme should be and it's sad that it's not. Legit this is what I grew up with.
@@afridgetoofar1818 like the kicker from rutgers the knight in sword and armor jeremy ito kick all regardless leg down at new jersey in college football on espn in sound the band!
@@billyrayvalentinecapricorn what??? I'm saying this reminds us of the golden age when you could get hyped for little games like that off of this song because it just hit different
@@billyrayvalentinecapricorn yeah I mean the vibes were just better. No way I'd watch that matchup now but I remember back in the day this song came on and I'd be ready to watch that matchup!
I can just hear Brent Musburger's voice welcoming us to another cold overcast afternoon in Columbus Ohio, ready for some hard hitting Big 10 football. Nostalgia at its finest.
@@JDFrank20Diaz Don't get me wrong, I still love college football but it's just not the same as it was 15-20 years ago. Even though the game itself has advanced it hasn't been good for the sport as a whole imo.
Chris Simmons because legit all of the good games were on ESPN (mostly because of the ABC sports acquisition), there were like 2 or 3 big time ones not including BCS on fox but that’s it
Loved hearing this and the great Mr. Musberger welcoming us to Ohio State/Michigan, OU/Texas, UGA/Bama, LSU/Tennessee, etc. THIS is Saturdays in the fall/winter in the Midwest
Ron Franklin here with Mike Gottfried. It’s another beautiful night for SEC football. We are live from Columbia South Carolina for this matchup between the Gamecocks and the bulldogs of Athens, GA!
October 31,2009: Brad Nessler: Happy Halloween to you all, tonight we have the Volunteers of Tennessee led by first year coach Lane Kiffin looking to pull off the upset against the Head Ball Coach and the 22nd ranked gamecocks of South Carolina
I can hear it just like it was yesterday... "For the first time ever, ESPN welcomes you to Peden Stadium in Athens, Ohio as the Bobcats take on the Pittsburgh Panthers - both schools looking for their first win in 2005."
"You're looking live at a sold out Michigan Stadium also referred to as The Big House. Beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan. Where the undefeated Wolverines welcome in the once beaten Fighting Irish of Notre Dame". - Brent Musberger
I used to find football so boring but my parents still made me watch it sometimes. Somehow I found this song and brought back memories of those days, and I remember seeing JoePa coach from the press box. It wasn't until I was 13 years old in 2016 I truly found appreciate for the sport. We Are Penn State
as a 17 year old Kstate fan i started watching Kstate football when i was about 5. This is the theme that was on ESPN when i would watch College Football and so it holds a special nostalgic place in my heart.
god i miss it im so ready to hear that sound again and ready for the kick off of the college football season ya its nice to have college football live on every day but im ready for the season to start! GO MIZZOU
I've heard different versions of this theme and while I like the theme the version I like the best was from 1999. When I hear that particular version I get goosebumps and I'm getting my gameface on.
You are looking live at Cowboy stadium in Arlington, Texas for tonight’s premier Saturday Night College Football matchup between the Tigers of LSU and the Texas Longhorns, I’m Brent Musburger along side my friend Kirk Herbstreit, and Herbie, what an exciting matchup we have tonight?
It’s a cold one in Ann Arbor today. I’m Bret Musburger here along side with Kirk Herbstreit and Brad Nestler where we await the BIG BLUE to take center stage against the Michigan St Spartans…..
" Just in...... Out of Ann Arbor Michigan, the Wolverines of Michigan have been upset by the Appalachian State Mountaineers 34-32... one of the biggest upset in college football history "
Come on College Football get here! I can't wait for that September Afternoon for some Nebraska Football then when I get home from the game more College Football! Go Big Red!
