@@JWLSports I think so. We might surprise some folks. Just CD3 and Amik could do the job and having Mosley still there is awesome. But I have no feeling our Rookies will tear it up.
Brad has done this rebuild step by step. Last year at the Combine Villain hoodied Brad said they were going to focus on stopping the run. What happened? Detroit was the #3 run D in the league last season. Now he's turned his attention to the Pass D. With all the CB's he brought in plus the opportunity to see what Moseley has left you would hope they can find 2-3 guys that can excel.
I mean go look at the last 3 drafts.. we didn’t over load offense! Hutchinson, pascual, branch, Campbell, Kirby, Arnold, ennis. McNeil.. We’re stacked, the league just don’t know it yet
I don’t know why people actually think that they were just building offense…. Brad Holmes has consistently drafted on both sides of the ball in EVERY SINGLE DRAFT….🤷🏾♂️ #OnePride✊🏾🦁💙 #InBradWeTrust💯
I'm pretty sure with the lions, they weren't drafting offense just to draft offense or defense just to draft defense. I believe it truly was the best player available. This year, the draft just fell on defense .
Cat Bowl in the Bayou. Lions vs. Bengals my two favorite teams will happen!! Let's go. Great content. I greatly appreciate your analysis and I couldn't agree more with the Lions/Bengals nonsense discourse.
For sure! Lots of Steelers stuff. I’d just search Steelers on my home screen as well as Justin fields, Russell Wilson ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RIsrcvdO4-0.html
I like your thinking Julian. The defense just needs to be good enough. One more sack, one more stop, one more turn over. If they average 5 less points per game, that should do it.
Hey don't forget that I also believe that the lions were number three in the league on run defense so actually was all in the secondary, are mostly anyways.
@@JWLSportsthat's a lazy take. No u still need to stop the run. U can have a leaky secondary and make it. If u can't stop the run you're toast. Lions proved it last year. A few bad plays on offense and bad game management in the second half kept them out of the superbowl. Not bad pass defense. Campbell made bad calls in the second half being to aggressive and not taking the points when he had the chance and an untimely turn over sealed it.
@@JWLSports"Defense comes down to secondary and passrushers". Sounds pretty lazy to me. When like I stated before you have to stop the run in this league 1st. Crappy secondary play can be over come. LIONS proved it last year.
@@Toddnesbitt I'm actually shocked that a team like the Islanders or Buffalo don't try to pick him up if he wants to be so close to his wife.. And this is coming from a Red Wings fan..
The defense is at least a year off. Fans don’t want to hear that, but it’s just what it is. Tons of what ifs Reader’s health Davenport’s health Campbell’s growth What Anzalone show up each week Arnold’s growth Branch’s health The unit as a whole is probably 4 players away.
