Maintenance, Repair & Operation (MRO) on a Gear made by Force Technology Denmark using ESPRIT for additive toolpath programming & RoboDK for robot digital twin & post-processing. Project was funded by Manufacturing Academy DEnmark (MADE). Part has been printed with a 6 axis Kuka robot equipped with external linear axis and turning/tilting table. Cell is also furnished with a spindle for rotary operation. A GTV cladding head (powder+laser) was used to perform additive operations. Total cycle time was about 5 min to reload part with steel 4140.
