On May 23, 2018, early learning and ESSA implementation experts Kyle Snow and Chris Dwyer of RMC examined issues associated with the law’s provisions for evidence-based interventions. Topics included differences between ESSA and its predecessor, No Child Left Behind; programs for which evidence-based interventions are required, encouraged, or incentivized; the law's four evidence tiers; and opportunities for leveraging ESSA's Tier 4.
