What a win! With the latest COVID outbreak in Melbourne forcing the Bombers out of Victoria for an indeterminate amount of time, they were going to have overcome the odds to beat West Coast in Perth. Even more so when they trailed by 29 points late in the first half and appeared on the ropes. But an incredible turnaround from that point saw the Bombers kick nine of the final eleven goals of the match to deliver a season-defining victory and one that this young team could build on for the future.

The second efforts of some of our players is so good to see, Perkins & Hind are standouts for me they just make things happen you can never count them out of a contest it’s awesome

I noticed in this game particularly that Perkins seems to have a lot of time to make decisions and execute the right option. Reminds me of a trait possessed by a certain #5 once upon a time...

There’s a reason the highlights are better than the AFL. Those highlights are not just based on Essendon they are on the game itself where Essendon simply aren’t much good. If you’re satisfied with this then that’s great because that’s where you’ll stay at best

Its because the heavy rain started. There was even hail. It made the match a scrap so the superior skilled Eagles struggled in that weather.

When Essendon played against Brisbane Lions it was heavy raining and then Essendon lost by 57 points so why didn't we lose against West Coast Eagles in the heavy rain?
