This song emanates the very essence of 2000s era, so many memories, so attuned to the time period in which the original game came from. What a stellar choice and an outstanding chilling composition. Just reminded me of the era when youtube was shockfull of AMVs of linking park and evanescence.

I’m 25 years old and this is in my opinion the most significant thing to come out of 2023. How this franchise maintains such a dedicated fan base to this day I will never fully understand but I’m here for it

So this is the song... You know, I only just got into Bionicle a year ago. I just finished the Bionicle story a few days ago, from the quaint island of Mata Nui to the sands of Bara Magna. And I must say... this story completely fucking broke me. It's one of the, if not the most disturbing children's stories I've ever read, maybe even one of the most disturbing stories in general. I know that's really dramatic to say, but it's true. This may sound cruel of me but... I don't think the legend of the Bionicle will ever truly live no matter how remembered it is... but that never stopped me from giving it the love it deserves. People need to know more about this story. I just wish I... we could call back it's heart. I feel like I've forgotten why I grew to love Bionicle in the first place. I don't want anything to come between me and my love for Bionicle... I don't want to forget the Matoran, Toa, and Turaga. And even though they're fictional characters... I don't want them to forget me. But maybe... maybe this song did call back Bionicle's heart after all.

I'll say it again, this is a fantastic song, I had been having goosebumps just listening to the stems, sparking images of a troubled land, fighting back against an envious darkness. gonna be writing this comment while listening to the song and noting the bits I love *beach chant being incorporated into the opening riff (and other parts) *assuming this song is written during the time period when Makuta is in control of the GSR (his paradise, etc) need to get the lyrics to this cuz there's a few small bits I couldn't understand due to the music booming along lol Fantastic work on this ^^ totally worth listening to at 4 am

There's something about the heroic desperation in these lyrics that applies to every Bionicle year. Mahri Nui is definitely the big one that comes to mind, but I feel like these themes applied to the Great Beings before the Shattering all the way to the very end of the story
