Bad news for digital only sellers the filter on any search at the moment is now set to physical items - so unless the client actually chooses to clear the search filter or choose digital - you wont get seen if digital only. My traffic fell away yesterday because of this.

Thank you for this Nik. I tried a digital item listed today and it was indexed 🤗 and a couple of longer listed physical items also indexed. I average 20 views a week so far, which is 39% down on last year even though I'm doing more, but still much more to do - really appreciate your helping us

Keep listing, it is a marathon, and make sure your store is in good shape for September onwards.

Try promotong and selling on your own website. You should be getting be 20 views per week after 5 to 6 weeks, not months or over a year.

thank you for this just checked my listings and almost half of my products are not indexed! I feel like all of us that been glitched should get refunded because they've taken fees but we are not even getting seen / not indexed.

If you do have an indexing issue, please contact Etsy (I know...nightmare) and get them to help you.

Hi, thank you for this insightful video. Does the location from where one is logging in to check make a difference? My store is Germany based, and Etsy Support (based in US) has shard some screenshots confirming that all my listings and the Shop is indexed. However when I check, from my India location, the listing that Etsy says is indexed, does not show up in my Store search function, or the general Etsy search bar, even after trying various browsers (Chrome, Safari, IE) and devices. Funnily, some of the other listings are infact showing up in my Store search. What do you make of it?

Could you please advice how to raise views in search, if the listing IS indexed? Photo, video, SEO are smart. 35 products in shop, sales and reviews available😢 I couldnt find the way to be seen more than 12 views a day

@@kinestet_art I was about start writing about some things you can change but then I saw that your shop is active since 2016!! You have 39 sales since 2016. It doesn't matter if you were off for any reason but your shop has zero chances to be successful! The reason is that Etsy will ALWAYS put you on the bottom of search results because in 8 years, you made almost zero sales, you brought to Etsy zero money from fees! That applies for potential buyers too, I mean If I was a buyer, I would think that this shop cant be good since it has 40 sales the last 8 years. My advice is to deactivate your shop and start one from scratch! Etsy always gives some boost to new shops. Also, 35 listings are way too few, you will need a least 100 even if it means that you have to duplicate some of your listings with different listing title, tags etc All the above are a friendly advice from an stranger, you should always research yourself what is good for your shop! Does it mean that my listing is not indexed if I paste my listing title into the regular Etsy search bar and my listing doesn’t come up? But it does come up if I search my store. Sorry if this is obvious, I’m a brand new store 😊

Any chance you could do a video on the recent announcement from Etsy regarding image listings and mock up. What is your take on it? I'm seeing a lot of videos claiming Etsy are being vague about their policies while also telling us they're adding more clarification. The hamster wheel continues...

Its extremely difficult to contact etsy if should happen to not have my items indexted. Is there one specific email you could run by us or link thanks so much. My store doesn't seem to get very many views at all and if i its because I put my link sometimes on my facebook with ads or the nextdoor app. thanks again for any suggestions.

While I can search for my listing on a general search bar, I am unable to find it on the search function of my own store. Does this mean my listing is indexed by search engines, or is it not being properly indexed?"

Hi, if you cannot find your listing in your own store search bar, this means you are not indexed, but it needs to be all listings not found.

Hello, I have a question Do you know if unsubscribing from Etsy Plus will have an impact on our visibility? Will continuing to post regularly after unsubscribing help us move up in the search results again? Knowing that it was only for the extra features (without using ads) that aren't so great after all. Hi, nothing will happen when you unsubscribe from Etsy Plus, your visibility will be the same.

So i checked..in the first 2 pages, so 40 listings, over 12 listings weren't indexed. I contacted etsy and they said that I am being able to be found.

Try putting the title into the main Etsy search bar and see if your product gets found.
