I love the duct tape around the lighter and the small container of salt tips! I’m definitely going to pull out my emergency bag and add some more items! Thanks!
Not sorry to keep posting but, I went to a local fuel station and bought a bunch of two packs of Acetaminophen, Ibuprofen, and Imodium. They fit great in my very small boo boo kit on my gun belt, along with insect sting medicine, and lip balm. That took enough out of my IFAK to add more stop the bleed stuff, and other trauma stuff. Just giving you ideas. I love your video. I hope many people see it and can believe that they can also get prepared without feel overwhelmed. I gave you a like. Keep up the good work.
Military guys, and professional medics tell you NOT to use tampons for packing wounds. They are not dense enough to work. Monthly blood is much thicker and a bleeding wound. Just letting you know. The maxi pad idea doesn't sound like a bad one. You could use that to create a thicker patch over a bleed that will help an Israeli bandage create more directed pressure over the wound.
We've absolutely used them in the field, so I'm not sure who military guys is referring to exactly. However, to be clear, That's because you use whatever you can get sometimes. IF you end up having to use one, explode the item into fibers, then pat it back down, making something more like a bandage then tape it down. It will work wonders.
Your travel size little clear bottles are a great idea for hand sanitizer. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, should NOT be used out in the field. A travel pack of baby wipes will be more than enough. You need to stay scentless for the animals. If they smell you, you'll end up having a bear sniffing your hair. We know you don't want to go there. LOL
Since you seem to like feedback and actually comment, this is a lot betyer format than a year ago. Saying things like, we got 6 items from xyz store is far more clear than older videos. Also more helpful than ppl sharing only amazon links and for haters it's because on Amazon it's extremely difficult to know who's selling the items you're about to buy by seller. However, one branded item at home Depot should be very similar to the exact same item from home Depot of the same brand. Absolutely not true at Amazon because any seller which can use the same link can sell you a fake, having work there I can vouch for that. So I appreciate the listing.
