Just got my official Duolingo test result yesterday and I managed to score overall 130 with just a day of preparation. Tips: Don't portray your mind thinking this as a hard test. Just practise 5 to 6 practise test and see in what range you are getting the score. Work on your mistakes. You all can do it guys. Go for it !!!!

Teacher Luke ? Where do I begin? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME to teach all of us English so clearly 😭. I’ve been watching your videos for the past 5 days and I managed to achieve a score of 135 overall Literacy 125 Comprehension 140 Conversation 140 Production 130 I only needed 120 overall and 105 in each component. @@krithika1438 hey there. I’d say you’re on track👏🏽. Watch more of Teacher Luke’s videos and improve on areas where you feel you’re weak at & then take the test. Make sure to utilize the writing and speaking prompt. Write and speak as much as you can. Good luck.

Hey Teacher Luke, just got my results today and I got 150!! So over the moon right now! Been practicing daily for a month in your practice platform and regularly watching your videos. I usually average on 135-145 on the practice tests 2 days before the exam so I knew I can pass. Still, the actual exam especially the speaking portion for me was so nerve-wracking. Fortunately, the adrenaline and a month’s practice kicked in before my nerves. You’ve helped me a lot get this score. Now, I can enroll to get a doctorate degree at a university in the US. Teacher Luke, I came across your videos a day before my exam and I just binge-watched this particular video. I got a 150 overall score! 145 Production 150 literacy 150 comprehension 145 conversation I must say that I took the practice test about 5 times (with a lot of distractions btw) and I kept getting 115-140 so I encourage everyone to take the jump!

In particular, I was very nervous about production and conversation questions because I don't speak English often with other people. Fortunately, I took the test and received 150/160 (150 Production)! @@soorajs5735 Almost always 105-140. It is worth mentioning that I got the same score range even though in some practice tests I entirely skipped the speaking questions (by remaining silent until the end of required time). So, I guess practice test scores are not 100% reliable.

i Got 120 in just 5 days , i appeared in ielts as well or scored only 6.0 which was not enough or i had not much to attempt again an ielts. Thankyou so much for such a quality content anyone who scored between 110-145 in a practice test can easily score 120 in real test which is good and equivalent to ielts band 7.0

@@playboicartihey it's only effect your production score overall you can easily score 110 or above which is good. Try to talk more or just be confident or don't be in hurry .. Talk in medium speed so you can easily think about the next sentense .. All the best dude

Hi! This is my text for the speaking task 2:35:19 My favorite hobby is taking photos of my friends, strangers, and landscapes. I like to catch the epic emotions. Moving to the next question, I’ve been shooting photos since my parents bought their first camera in the early 00s. It was a small camera with a flash card. As for question three, I prefer to do it alone, because I am too focused on my feelings, proсess, and myself. But sometimes when I need some help with lighters and some other stuff, I invite my friend or my sister. And for the last question, this hobby is important for me, because it is the opportunity to show others my vision of the world, and creativity. Moreover, it is one of the ways to earn money.

Hi Teacher Luke, Sandra from Nigeria here.Thank you so much for your lessons and tips.I was really nervous to take the test at first but after watching your videos, I had a bit of confidence built up especially for the speaking aspect. @@emmanuelabakah5194 the tips I followed was from teacher Lukes videos, and I also practiced my speaking by looking up random speaking topics and trying to elaborate on them. Another thing is, I have been speaking English since I was in nursery, The medium of teaching in my country is in English and so it wasn't so difficult to adapt quickly to the tips.However,you'll do great , just work on your weakness and do the test. My weakness was confident speaking, I can't form words confidently, I stuttered but I worked on it before the test.

This is the only comment I've ever made on youtube and I'll therefore keep it short, but I just had to express my many thanks to you. I got my test results today and scored 160 overall, with my lowest score being production (140). I had consistently scored 115-145 and 105-140 on practice tests, so I wasn't at all expecting this result. I watch couple of video from Luke. I am fluent but exam totally a different story. I even mess up at the exam but managed to get 130. Definetely he is on point with all suggestions. The most useful content for this test. I have been checking couple of different youtuber but Luke way better at explaining and pointing out the right tricks. Thanks for your content!
