Great video! Thanks for the recommendations, especially about tretanoin treatment. I hadn't heard of it before. As another 30-something, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your videos. :)
Love this! I just emailed my doc to see if he’d prescribe Tretinonin. As far as the spf, I’ve never done an spf unless I’m going like to the pool etc with no make up. I tried using an olay moisturizer with sunscreen and it caused a bad rash on my face. The doc said it was the spf in the product so I’m so scared to use anything with spf in it, unless it’s like a pool day where I’m sunscreening my whole body lol. I can’t stand the smell in most makeup with spf or how it feels, or the lotions so I would love your feedback on what you think!
Hey! I hope you love the tretinoin! And I definitely recommend using an SPF every day, even if you’re just out running errands. It took me a while to find a SPF that I love, but I’ve been using Elta MD mineral sunscreen and it’s great. Feels more like a tinted moisturizer.
@@ashleyhudson6888 this is the exact one I use! I like that it’s tinted just a bit: www.dermstore.com/product_UV+Elements+Tinted+BroadSpectrum+SPF+44+_68301.htm
Thanks for this video. I used Tretinoin years ago but discontinued it because my acne disappeared. After your video, I have started again. Just one question: Other than the Tretinoin, you repeat the exact same routine in the morning? Thanks again!
Hi Laura! In the morning, I wash my face with Cerave, then use a vitamin C serum (specifically Skinceuticals CE Ferulic), then Cereve moisturizer, then Elta MD physical sunscreen!
Hi! I get hormonal breakouts around the sides of my mouth and chin and I find that the tretinoin helps! I also tried Spirinolactone (sp?), a prescription pill that helps with acne. I didn’t notice a huge difference but I know people that have had great results from it! And I’ve found that the Cerave SA cleanser helps control break outs a bit as well!
