Now if only there was a mod that would fix those janky flying animations so that they don't instantly change direction or go into that hovering attack mode
It's cool, but there aren't really any high resolution textures for DDSSE. I just use the vanilla dragons with better textures and meshes. They still hold up
Lately I have been on a trend of making Skyrim super deadly. Not Elden Ring deadly but loads more bad guys and revamped locations. Tweaking the dragons with Majestic and dragon's breath were a given but oh goodness I forgot about thuns! lol This will definitely make things sticky. Good Vid Cheesey
I've been looking for some extra mods to spruce up Dragons! As for Dragon Priests, I highly recommend King-Priest :) it even makes the boss of Bleak Falls Barrow a minor Dragon Priest, which makes so much sense to me.
If people were interested in making Dragons immersive, it would be impossible to melee attack them at all. Swipe of the tail/wings or bite attack would be instant death regardless of whatever armor you put on.
To be fair, the Dragon Melee mod he showcased does exactly that, so much so there's an optional file for that mod to disable knockback for the Player when they are hit by the Dragon's melee attack.
@@mastercheesey The problem with that mod project is that it relies on Ultimate Dragons which is 1.5.97 SE only, so those who update to 1.6.X can't use it.
Brilliant video mate. Always look forward to your reviews. I'm skirting around the 255 limit so I'm not sure if I can use the GoT as the mods don't stipulate where esl or not... there's a lot of mods. For now I've gone majestic, breath, thume and melee enhancers. Thanks mate :)
Dude you are on a roll, and I love it!!!! Keep pushing out this quality content my dude✊🏾 you’re fast becoming one of the best Skyrim content creators 👍🏾 Btw I just bought a new gaming chair this week gettin ready to get that GPU and start playing again 🥳
“If they’re still small they look like easy targets” Me: thinking back to my childhood and remembering raptors in Jurassic park. Yeah small isn’t scary at all (nervous laughter)
Another good mod is True Dragons. It makes the dragons have four legs so they are actual dragons instead of wyverns for people that care about semantics like that. Majestic Dragons has a version specifically for it, and those two alone honestly make dragons so much better.
@rebeccaadams2509 It's a single player fantasy game. Sometimes it's fun to have dragons with 4 legs without thinking about realism. It's a old fantasy trope seen in old fiction novels, movies, board games, old ttrpgs, and video games. It's fiction and not everything need to be realistic. If everything was trying to be realistic as possible, it would be very boring. No offense. May I ask why you don't like dragons with 4 legs and breath fire?
Wyvern are a type of dragon. Just not all dragons are wyverns. Type of dragons: - Standard Western Dragon - Oriental Dragon - Dragonnet - Wyvern - Quetzalcoatl - Cockatrice - African Dragon - Hydra - Wyrm - Amphiptere - Knucker - Drake It's ok to not understand what the true meaning of the word dragon is, it gets confused and jumbled overtime people confused it for only being 4 legs big scaly fire breathing dragon when in reality its not. Plus its fantasy it can be whatever it wants to be. Go look up old traditional dragons some look like dogs, cats, no legs small wings, so on if you want to be really historic about it.
The reason why dragons turn invisible when you go near them is due to Precision. I think there's a guide online just search it up on how to edit it's INI file to disable trueactorfade or something
Update fix my list after almost 6 hours installing and uninstalling and patching that was crazy, well time to brake it again. Did you fix your wabajack cheesey?
There's this one retexture mod i use to use that made him black with glowing red under his wings that looked incredible. That's the only one I have ever seen give him justice.
It's only an artistic choice, true dragon / wyvern nonsense is made by modern fantasy, not based on historical depiction of dragons. But yeah, four leged dragons do look much cooler 😂
The only reason the people of Tamriel call these wyverns, dragons is because Todd and his team made a huge mistake and couldn't fix it before 11,11,11 they hoped nobody noticed. Or the people of Tamriel haven't seen an actual dragon.
Skyrim doesn't have dragons in it. Dragons have 2 arms 2 legs and 2 wings. you should have modded real dragons into Skyrim. i was devastated when i first saw the wyverns they tried to pass off as dragons. Todd really dropped the ball, the whole game is about dragons despite none being present in the game. Shure he called it a dragon, Columbus called native Americans Indians, they're both wrong.
Yall are weird. If dragons actually existed they would not have 4 legs. No flying animal has ever had 4 legs. Plus, wyverns don't breath fire. 2 legged fire breathing dragons are true dragons. That's why grrm designed his dragons the way he did in game of thrones and house of the dragon.
All wyverns are dragons... but not all dragons are wyverns. @@darthsol658 Since the sixteenth century, in English, Scottish, and Irish heraldry, heraldic wyverns are defined as distinct entities from heraldic dragons. The key difference has been that a wyvern has two legs, whereas a dragon has four.
