Exquisite rendition of Bruno Martino's Italian love song, Estate (Summer)...♪♪ Summer, you're hot like the kisses I have lost...You're full of a love that has passed... Matt takes us back to those romantic moments of yesteryear...Oh my, that tone is out of this world.
Such a beautiful tune I've been playing also. Really nice palm mute, I never think of that, when soloing? Octaves were sweet. (Wes lives.) My first visit to your site, I'll be back. Great work.
The hard part about jazz improvisation, or maybe just music is to actually express passion and emotion, like trying desperately to say something with words, but you can't speak, so all you have to say is what you feel. To let go, open up and express it, don't hold anything back. Draw the listener in until they are lost in your world. I think anyone who is a true musician can do it. And it makes no difference how much you know. The technical details follow the musician. The wanna bees chase the details but they never produce music no matter how much they know because they are not a musician
Is there a reason you play song in Em rather than Bm? Great to be able to play in other keys, but just love original. Anyway, many thanks for all your great uploads.
Sorry but this is not Bossa Nova. If you want to ear for this piece performed in the real Bossa Nova style please look for Niromar Fernandes Estate. Your solo is really good and tasteful. Thanks for your music. Greatings from Italy.
