Estes Park, Colorado in the 1940's

Wow! Very cool! My family and I were in Estes Park in July of 2005, 2006, and 2007, and we had a blast. I can't wait to go back.

I lived in Colorado for 10 years. Loved it. But I always wished that I could have experienced it in the old days, such as in this film. Back when it was much less populated. Older people there would tell me that one could go places in the mountains and not see another person the whole day. It wasn’t like that when I lived there. Also the cultural change. I would have loved experiencing it back before hippies, new agers, marijuana, and crazy lefties. Also, you can’t afford to buy a house there anymore. The state is going downhill in some ways.
