Sir plz tell 1)why blood urea nitrogen Is a best indicator in USA than urea? 2)which is the best mathod among 3 those you have mentioned in this video? 3)and what difference can happen in blood urea and serum urea value?;

1. Chemical formula of urea is ( NH2 )2 >C=O i.e. Molecular weight of urea is 60 while nitrogen in it is 28 . 60/28 = 2.14 , so the conversion is blood urea nitrogen × 2.14 = blood urea , a calculative value . All the automatic instruments used in laboratory measure BUN which is converted to the urea by multiplying 2.14. Plus other substances like NH3 can interfere with urea estimation so its better to give value in BUN. 2. Urease is best for the estimation of urea as its kinetic method. 3. Blood urea is the misnomer term which is used from the very beginning. Actually we are estimating urea in Serum/plasma. So no such difference between Blood urea and Serum urea. Hope it helps.

Blank (B) is used for caliberation Value will come lower than other S and T Colour is lighter Standard (S) - used for identification Dark in colour compared to B Test (T) - used for finding unknown conc. Among these three T is darkest in colour

Great work. But I'd like to point out that After decimal we don't say the figure, we say the digits. E.g. 2.14 is not two point fourteen. It is two point one four.
