when it rains, that rough road bit gets pretty muddy and have to drive through uncomfortably big puddles (5-10m) but still passable. that annoying bug was a deer fly. super sticky feet and flat profile and they bite. annoying but not dangerous. unlike ticks.
I visited Estonia recently.i uploaded the video and i have no idea how is it but i can definitely say your video is amazing.BEST WISHES FOR NEXT DESTINATION .
7:43 This insect is called deer fly en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lipoptena_cervi Not really dangerous but VERY annoying. However, most of the anti-mosquito sprays will do the thing. They LOVE hairy animals :D
Such an amazing video! Impressive camping spots, as well as quite interesting to check the places/regions you are going through. Great footage and pictures guys!!!
RMK is a National forestry management center. Their job is to renew, thin and popularize the forest. They also collect data to see how much reserves Estonia has.
Could you share the name of that haunting music that was playing in the windy beach part? Greetings from Tallinn, astounding camera work, keep it coming.
Impressive editing and drone skills. What you found in your hair was a deer ked (Lipoptena cervi). One of the most annoying bugs in Estonia's nature :D
Please be aware of the other bugs - ticks. Buy the sprays.... ;) I saw none but my brother had 5. So, the spay actually works at least for couple of hours.
David, one episode I haven't seen which I believe most of your subs will probably like is where you show us the equipment you use to record and edit your blog. Now that you are home planning your next adventures would probably be a perfect time for that. Love your blog. Hope you are all doing well!
