Hi Doc. It sounds like Estriol would be a better choice for someone with breast calcification but does Estriol also have the same effect on preventing bone loss like Estrodiol or is it good for the bone at all?
Estrogen is a natural occurring sex steroid - there are three types of estrogen - estradiol, estrogen and estriol. None are bad but if out of balance with progesterone can cause health issues

I was prescribed Estradiol 2mg pills to prep my uterus for a frozen embryo transfer. I was taking 2 pills three times a day orally and 1pill three times a day vaginally. Is that a high dose? Should I be worried? Also how long can I keep taking them? I've been taking them for a year now because my transfer is getting canceled due to high progesterone
High dose estrogen is often used to prepare the uterus for embryo transfer and appears to be safe if not done frequently. Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!
I was on estradiol cypionate. Seen a new dr and prescribed estradiol valerate. Suddenly, if i drink any caffeine i feel immediately drowsy and lose my appetite. Very strange. Maybe my body will get used to it.
TY for your video! I started an internal, pea-sized amt of estradiol 0.01% vag cream 2wks ago for vag atrophy. On day 8, I began having daily nausea, along with some stomach bloating and upset. I was taken aback by this, as I thought vag cream-and its effects-were to remain localized to the vag only! I assume my having nausea means that some of it is being absorbed into my bloodstream, which makes me a bit nervous since I am a 16 yr BC survivor. So is this normal for vaginal 0.01% estradiol cream-and only a pea-size amt-to cause daily nausea? And will the nausea and stomach upset eventually go away if I keep using it? I am suppose to drop the dose to just 3x/week, but am a little reluctant to start back on it at all. I’ve been off the cream for 7 days and still feel a bit nauseous here and there, although not as intense as before. Any feedback would be incredibly appreciated!
There is a 5% absorption through the vagina into your system which may cause side effects like nausea and bloating If you were my patient I would shock how you’re metabolizing estrogen then recommend supplements to help your estrogen metabolism move to safer forms But short term use of vaginal estrogen is unlikely to feed an existing cancer.
Can taking oral Estradiol make the drug transferable through touch to a child? My granddaughter, age 7, is being assessed for premature puberty. Is it possible I could be passing this drug to her through touch?
Yes there could be a correlation I know dogs are very susceptible to this. What is your granddaughters diet like?Is she drinking organic milk? What is she using as a wash? What does her mother use to wash her clothes. Unfortunately nowadays we are all living in a chemical soup. The soft plastics disrupt or inhibit our hormones. The clothes as well if highly synthetic.

I had a complete hysterectomy at age 30. I’m now 43 and during these 13 years I have not had any estrogen replacement. A few years ago ( around age 38) I started having severe symptoms of menopause and in the recent year I have suffered from mild inconsistency and vagina pain so I went to a ob/gyn who done my hysterectomy. He put me on estradiol 1mg a day pill. Would there be anything you would add or change about this. I would like your opinion on what you feel I should take. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Ethinyl Estradiol is synthetic, the same estrogen used in the birth control pill. For very short term use it’s probably not an issue, but over five years taken as peri or menopausal hormone replacement therapy your breast cancer risk may increase.

What happens to me now 60yrs of age now hysterectomy at the age of 35 been tested now as I have a lots of terrible symptoms tests came back I am under 70 and dr says I should be over 2400.....but my blood group is Apos.....and I was told to rather have anxiety and loose all my long hair which has thinned to half the thickness now and racing heart and no sleep etc etc etc.....please help and remembering I had a early total abdominal hysterectomy 😪😪😪😪😪😪😪

Yes sorry drs say my eostrogen levels are the below 70 and it should be at my age 2400 the reading....I am 60 but have had no ovaries since I was 35....so I am going through alot will try and join your workshop but dont have the faculties for online paying etc so will find someone to do it for me so long thank you
It's very confusing as Dan Purser MD said 17B Estradiol offer the cardiovascular protection and bone protection only if you take it orally. You said only if you don't take it orally i.e a patch (what about sublingually as is a kind of oral form?). I'm 58 in October and started my menopause when I was 51 almost 52. I was diagnosed with systemic sclerosis when within the period of starting my menopause . I was on death's door with lots of symptoms coming my way. So this is classed as a co-morbidity. However, I've brought myself back to a healthy position where I can exercise - I do resistant exercises lots of press-ups, tummy exercises, leg strengthening exercises etc. I eat very healthy no wheat. I used to find breathing hard but now I don't have to think about it. I would like to go on 17B estradiol but am ignorant on it hence I just didn't bother go to the doctors because I didn't want to go on any of these equestrine hormones. I'm within the 10 year window of post-menopause. I do get menopause symptoms still although no where near as bad as when I started as the healthy lifestyle helped immensely. I want to go on 17 B-Estradiol for the cardiovascular and bone benefits. My mum is 90 and had lymphoma when she was 86 and she did text-book fine. Nothing wrong with her, no co-morbidity. I feel I'm a good candidate for it. What would you think please as I don't want to reach the 10 year window and still ignorant. If you are taking high enough doses of hormones to suppress ovulation \, as are prescribed in birth control pills, you should not be able to get pregnant. If you’re taking HRT doses, and you’re perimenopausal, you may be able to get pregnant. Normally dosed HRT is not strong enough to suppress ovulation

@@elsagrace3893 are you F stupid? Additional hormones like you so call them lol are necessary for example for a young lady that went through menopause at an early age. Without the necessary estrogen she faces heart attack, dementia, Alzheimer’s, osteoporosis and many more. Educate yourself FIRST! In America alone are 350.000 ladies under age 40 with heart attack (info from Mayo the best clinic in USA and the world). I’ve heard of trans women using estradiol that’s prescribed to dogs and cats. I don’t know if there’s a difference between the medication but I feel so bad that our healthcare system leads people to doing that.
@Mei. It depends on what your doctor said. Mine is 2 pills of then2mg during the day and one more later. 3 in total. And two T-blockers at separate times. I’m a busy person unfortunately so I take everything at once when I get up. So I don’t gotta worry about it later. Don’t think there is any side effects from that but you should ask.
