I just ordered one last night. I can’t wait to dig into it. I haven’t been able to use my old one with regular sized print in the last year or two. My eyes have gone bad since buying it 15 years ago or so. Thank you for the informative video! Many blessings to you.
It is a giant beast, but I love that the larger print, especially in the notes. I'm 50+ and my eyesight is not getting any better, that's for sure. The thought of not being able to read my Bible terrified me. So I was glad to find mine on sale. I got the Trutone and it's perfect for my needs. God willing, unless my sight gets even worse, I'm hoping this will last me the rest of my life.
@@ronnievonner No problem. The weird thing is, I ended up donating the Bible - not for any fault it has. It's wonderful. But it was SO huge that the only place I could read it was on the kitchen table. Plus, I realized I was not using the study helps as much as I thought I would. And I do still have my 1984 NIV Study for that. Hopefully, some other person will benefit from it!
Very helpful and informative review. The ESV is my prime translation, and I have a ESV Global Study Bible, which is smaller and does not have all the study notes. So hopefully will upgrade to one of these sometime and get the full benefits of all the work these believers put in to producing it. Thanks again. A
Not enough debate for my taste, annotations tend to tell you what connects to what, but the details of how it was determined are absent. Passages on Calvinism don't mention that controversy at all for example. Note that the large print version has a different page layout and black and white illustrations. I much prefer the layout of the regular print edition.
