The fact that you’re able to tie in the emotional influence of film and pop culture so well really sets this review apart from so many other fragrance reviewers. I’m a big fan of this method of conveying the mood of a scent.
Hearing myself is a bit uncomfortable, but best to just dive in and I could have spent some time actually organizing my thoughts on it, but I’m getting used to it and I’ll get better. This was a hard review to button up and not go into a two hour film analysis. Keep the geek at bay. I appreciate the positive feedback, brother.

Only tried Fat Electrician from ELDO and it’s definitely like nothing I’ve ever smelled before, which I hear is on-brand for the house. Would have loved to try this one (just recently discovered your channel) but incredibly generous giveaway nonetheless. Also, do you shoot and edit all of your own footage? So I heard of this coming out, read the note breakdown and knew I have to try it. Glad you have a review up since I'm having hard time finding some more opinions since it isn't out yet! I love how this house works with so much liberty and how they grabbed a concept that can be so complex and break it down in their own art. Also, camera work looks great on the video and the review was on point. Might have missed the point but would have love to know longetivity on this. - Texas
Sounds like an intriguing fragrance release. Being so open about the synthetic notes, makes this seems incredibly Japanese. As Japanese tech is so advanced and futuristic. Beautiful looking shop, as well. PS: I am located in NY.
I was in Ivanhoe last week and a door opened and the best scent I’ve ever smelled came out of that door. I wanted to walk in but I had my children with me. Next time…
This release is worth of an introduction as the GIT naming and the note pyramid left me with even more question marks. Thanks for your elaboration. Especially the explanations behind the actual chems are very appreciated by viewers like me. I devour perfume videos and learn to appreciate down to earth reviews concentrating on the scent, some reflection on note pyramid as well as interplay of ingredients and a personal reflection taste wise. Since you’re looking for feedback: scent videos have to describe the intangible. Associations to other scents could be helpful to understand where a reviewed scent is roughly (!) going. Also, I appreciate that you didn’t see need for gender or wear recommendations… so personal anyways. Oh and also, it would be great if people behind a scents development would get quoted. Hard to find good background articles that aren’t marketing tools

I agree fully, it’s actually a bit difficult to hit every point I want to and also stop myself from completely nerding out on some side tangents. This was honestly a difficult first review, but a good learning experience.
Excellent review brother, I love your set/background. I love getting a fresh take on “reviewing” fragrances. This one sounds beautiful, delicious, edgy, interesting. I like what you said about perception being reality, and I find that to be so true. I can be feeling miserable, but if I get dressed, shaved, put on an amazing fragrance and walk and carry myself with confidence and power, not only will other people begin to perceive me in that way, but so will I, and soon after my perception has become my reality. Great job, keep it up, I don’t know if the giveaway is still open, but I’d love to get my nose on this one.
I'm just getting into the world of both anime and fragrances! Ghost in the Shell has been an anime/Manga I've really been wanting to get into and I just got some samples from d'Orange's selection the other day! From the manga/anime's I've read/watched I recommend Bleach, My Hero Academia, and Akira and the fragrances from d'Orange I sampled that enticed me were She Was an Anomaly, Tom of Finland, and Magnifique Secretions (very interesting... ifykyk) if anyone wants to, please reply with more anime (sci-fi ones?) or fragrances I should try!! - Oklahoma
