Love Eldo. I think they're artistic and interesting, and for the most part, very wearable. Rien is an awesome incense fragrance with insane performance.
I bought Ghost in the Shell just for the name alone and because I wanted more yuzu frags but I love it for spring and that synthetic pastel scent it offers.
Not the popular choice, but Jasmin et Cigarette is my favorite. Nostalgic scent for me, reminds me of a cigar bar in Indianapolis, IN called Nicky Blaine’s
I bought this for my wife for Christmas. We went through it together and didn't find a single scent that either of us was more than OK on. We were both surprised that not a single frag from the collection caught our attention.
Etat Libre d'Orange, as a brand, is one of my favorites. A lot of their scents are fun/unique/creative. I own and love Hermann, Like This, Rien Intense Incense, Tom of Finland, and Marquis de Sade. I also really love the original Rien, Divin Enfant, and Jasmin et Cigarette.
I appreciate this type of video. I’m a fairly new collector, not gonna claim to have smelled every designer, but been around the different popular types. I feel ready to start more niche and these sample packs are probably the best for me to figure out where I want to start.
Some of my favorites are Spice Must Flow, La Fin du Monde, Ghost in the Shell, Divin’ Enfant and Bijou Romantique. ELDO is a great house. I’m looking forward to your thoughts on the others.
I'm quite sure that You or Someone Like you is coming up in the next part! It's my favourite from the house - An absolute stunning hyper realistic mint scent with a lot of juicy citruses and rindy green notes along with floral notes. Also, it lasts a long time on my skin (for a freshie).
Hermann and Exit The King are the only ones I've sampled, and I freaking love Hermann. I've smelt two others that my wife sampled, but don't remember what they were. I like ELDO though.
Been watching you for awhile, you're one of my favorite fragrance bloggers, and Eldo is also one of my favorites. I enjoy and own bottles of 500 Years, Herman, Spice Must Flow, Une Ammourette(very, very, potent), and have Divin Enfant, and Experimentum Crucis on my shopping list. The just listed a brand new one to their gold lineup call Frustration, that I want to try too!
I love this discovery set review idea & Im very nterested in ELDO in general. PLS do Comme des Garcons next, they have some really out there scents but also some that would really suit you like the Avignon series (Kyoto is absolute amazing!).

Oh I love this house and I am glad you agree to like some of the ones I own or reviewed too 😍 Well, in Arabic … 😅 I swear I am not advertising myself here but sharing the love for this house! Some of their fragrances though, I’d surely stay as far away from as I can.. and yes, I couldn’t pronounce most of them, especially “Experimentum Crucis” 🥲

remarkable people smells like slightly floral lemon soda with mint. reminds me of PDM Sedley with much less minty freshness but little bit more fruity citrusy sweet.
Ash, I've only seen you do 1 video about the house of ATH, and I recall that you didn't really like the 2 or 3 scents that you had. Any thoughts about doing another with his updated discovery set? I've been pretty happy with the couple I own. Keep up the great videos man!
The name is "Hermann à mes côtés me paraissait une ombre" . ELDO frangrances are quite artistic and their names do certainly play an important role in the interpretation of the scent. Finding out what all the names in french (or any other language) mean should have an impact on how one perceives the fragrance. We fragrance lovers must agree that we see perfumery as art, so please, fragrance reviewers: do your research on the name, not only what it translates but where/why that is.
Rein Intense, if you want incense and You or Someone Like You, is perhaps the most realistic mint frag you'll ever smell. I like, Like This, also. Will try 500, I can't seem to get enough of oud/rose frags. Cheers.
Finally something fresh , 10/10 niche affordable house , I love you ash but I was kinda sick of designer reviews all over !!! Hermann it’s my favourite , if you wanna smell like petrichor ( rain ) and get compliments go ahead with Hermann
I've smelled the Ghost in the Shell one and liked it, but haven't bought a bottle. I'd like to smell Like This sometime. The only bottle from this house I have is You or Someone Like You. I got it this summer and have been loving it!
Unpopular opinion : Secretions Magnifiques is their best perfume, easy signature scent, repulsive only for people who have heard about the concept before the scent and are biased ; I get so many compliments from it from people who don’t know anything about it! And Vierge & Toreros is also a really beautiful floral/animalic!
I own Remarkable People but I forgot about it. This is a good house quality wise but they have the ugliest bottles. Its like they slapped a sticker on the bottle..
Just hearing the write up about Marquise de Sade from that company disgusts me, i would never buy anything from that company... just one mans opinion Great video though
