I adore this fragrance. Had a sample and ordered a full bottle right away. It's unbelievably sexy! I don't like patchouli but apparently adore Akigalawood! The opening it rough but the drydown is gourgous. My BF goes wild when I wear it!
This has become my signature scent- it reminds me of an incense I used to use in the 90's. There's something musty and dusty about it that I love. Nag Champa if anyone is curious.
Akigalawood seems to be getting popular. It has been used in Miu Miu fragrances as well. Une Amourette smelled to me like camphor with slightly sweet woody base. Interesting as an experience, but not something I would like to wear on a daily basis.
Got a sample of this recently, it's gorgeous, really unusual and so different from most scents. It lasts for hours and hours despite my washing a great deal in my job. Amazing scent from an amazing brand.

I like the peppery side of patchouli so I think I’m gonna try to get a sample of it. My wrists do strange things with fragrances too...but not always the same thing. Sometimes they disappear, usually they amp anything slightly skanky...and the weird thing is my right one behaves different than the left...it makes me feel a bit crazy!
I really love this scent, above all the opening is divine but i don't know which is the parfum if smell like pepper, ment, chanfora, balsamic or what? But it s so easy to became quickly a skin scent and so the question is:can someome advice me some parfum or brand that has the base or almost the same identical fragrance of the opening of Une Amourette?some alternative or dupe. For the ones who, like me, feel a bit so-so about the floral opening but are CRAZY about the dry down (like cats and catnip crazy) I just tried layering Une Amourette with SawDust by Demeter - Library of Fragrances. The result is really beautiful! I get this amazing woody dry down all the way, which is amazing because I usually have to wait about 2h to finally reach this specific smell.
When i first got (smelled) this, it was super nostalgic. I couldn’t place the smell... and then boom! JOOP! seriously, this smells like JOOP and patchouli and pepper. It is legit amazing, despite the JOOP reference. We all used to wear JOOP in the 90’s hahaha... even had someone ask me if I was wearing JOOP once while wearing this. But again, this is NOT a bad thing. I love this frag.
Ps- you have to like patchouli to like this fragrance. It is heavy on the patchouli on the dry down, and the sillage is pretty prominent for hours, and then dry down/longevity is long as well. I can still smell it on my clothes days later. I love it.
I think that Etat Libre D'Orange simply wanted to have a note of "wood" because it's a play on words regarding a sexual affair. Can't wait to sample it.
