Hi! and blessings to France! My English is not perfect and I can't give you a word by word translation but here is a free interpretation for the idea of the song. I'm standing near by the manger beholding God not so blessed with earthly wealth.On this silent moment my dissatisfied heart is bowing down before him. Standing by the manger I'm longing to be touched by an angel. Like a prodigal child I was roaming around the world and lost it all. Near by the manger I'm whispering to my old shepherd, a man cannot find a life any richer than this. Walking away from the manger I can see all the bright stars in the night sky .On this night we are all surrounded by angels. Standing by the manger I still can't comprehend you my God, facing me through the smile of this child.
