Hey Jonny, got a sort of request. Can you put your music on Google Play Music? I've started using it since the YT Music app has been ignoring my premium status but was sad to see you don't have your albums on there. Either way, keep killing the game! Thanks, man.
I would but you do it shittily. Patreon is supposed to be about supporting what someone does. I don't want extra content nor do I want shit early and will not support such abuse because that's all it is. It's no different than a timer in mobile trash demanding you pay up to get it at the right time if at all. When something is ready for release it should release for everyone. That's what I pay people for and ONLY that. I don't want special treatment I just want you to do what you were already doing. Same goes for requests. I don't want to have any more consideration than a post here. That's not what this is for as far as I'm concerned. There's a reason other music people have had my support there for years and you don't. All the extras they give do not modify their existing content. So I'll just wait and buy it separately unless you remove the worthless digital ass kissing from there.
After playing FF14 so much, even when I go back to FF3, I can't help but hear the "This tragedy, greater even than the seventh umbral calamity..." line in my head once 1:58 hits.
This is the most calm, un-metal-like metal thing I've ever heard on this channel.... and.... it's kinda amazing. Edit: And then it picks up to be more metal. And it's still amazing.
see, songs like this show exactly why I like Gametal: it's not just metal. you use other instruments as well, from the electronic to the acoustic. it all makes quite the pleasant package. with that said, I'm gonna make a quick list of my suggestions: Evil Twins battle - Crash Twinsanity Nightmare King Grimm/Troupe Master Grimm - Hollow Knight Mega Satan - Broforce The battle of lil slugger - Super Meat Boy Infinite's theme (not the boss themes, the vocal one) - Sonic Forces keep it up Jonny, you're amazing as always!
Great timing on this beautiful and powerful rendition. The next FFXIV expansion's main theme has a bit of Eternal Wind mixed in, so this hit me in the feels immediately. Thank you, Jonny!
@@SlvrStryker yeah, but that was back in ARR, and wasn't readily available til the orchestrion was introduced. The ShB theme incorporating it makes it a bit more fresh on people's minds.
"And the wind, the wind it blows forever, for-evermore The sky is blue, and the light shines down on the land Come see, the eternal wind as the shadows reign, nevermore"
I remember when I saw someone who recognized Eternal Wind was in the trailer for FF14 expansion Shadowbringers the very first time they saw it, and they were shook
I always love when this come up in my playlist. It gives a really nice break from all the intense and fast-paced music I have in it. This really is a masterpiece. Thank you for blessing us with this, Jonny.
I remember listening to an album of arranged Final Fantasy III music with story narration done in English. This game has some great music in it, and I'm glad your channel is here to give it a spotlight. :)
Me hearing this a few years ago: Ah, I love Eternal Wind, it might be my favourite overworld theme. :) Me hearing this after Final Fantasy XIV: 😭 AAAAHHHHHGH... UUUAAAAAHWWWHHHHH UHUHHHUHHHHHHH 😭😭😭
Speaking of Final Fantasy, I'd like to request the Battle for Freedom, the final boss theme of Final Fantasy 12. I think it'd be really interesting to see how you interpret how a chaotic, menacing theme turns quickly into a triumphant and exciting anthem.
It's usually Eternal Wind or Priestess Aria with this game as far as track familiarity goes. It's not well-remembered due to its difficulty, and the DS remake didn't change too many minds about it either. Still a great remix on your part.
Holy shit I was not expecting that cover of the FF2 Main Theme at the end there! Is there a chance we could get an extended version of that some time? That's my absolute favorite main/map theme from FF, from my favorite FF game! EDIT: Nevermind, I found your acoustics channel after I posted this lol. Still though, I'd love to see you perform more of that game's amazing OST sometime. :)
Hermoso... Simplemente hermoso... :') Cómo para escuchar en un viaje mirando a través de la ventana. Ojalá pronto Jonny hagas un medley de Void Termina y Astral Birth Void del Kirby Star Allies
Eternal Wind is indeed one of the best overworld themes in Final Fantasy, and is amazing that suddenly FF3 is being given so much love by Square Enix itself
The original NES world map themes in Final Fantasy each had a theme to them, a different feeling. FF1 felt like an epic adventure, FF2 felt like a hopeless struggle, and FF3 felt like a vast expanse. Comparatively, the SNES games all had feels of their own. FF4 felt hollow, FF5 moved from feeling adventurous to fearful to despairing, FF6 moved from being a grassy knoll to a desolate wasteland. Personally, I feel FF5 did the best job in many regards including the music department - but that's just me.
Final Fantasy III has some great tunes that are greatly overlooked: this is one of them and I like a lot too Elia (the acoustic scerpt at the end, alas my heart) and The Boundless Ocean which is also an overworld theme in the game, at least for a little part. By the way, I heard another good cover/version of Eternal Wind made by Mintjam.
This is freaking awesome..makes me sad that this game got localized so late that not many people cared. My first experience with it was a fan translation on a NES emulator in 2000. Played the hell out of it lol
Beautiful... I agree, Eternal Wind is one of the best overworlds. I'm partial to 4's, personally, but there's childhood bias there. For some ideas, how about... Drawcia Sorceress / Drawcia Soul (Kirby Canvas Curse) (Maybe even throw in Revenge of the Enemy solo as a nod to Paintra?) The Dark Lord / The Dark Lord's Wrath (Miitopia) Boss Battle (SteamWorld Quest) Fused Kyurem / Ghetsis Battle (Pokemon BW2) Legendary Golems (Pokemon RSE) Landia (Kirby's Return to Dreamland) Taranza / Dark Taranza / King D-Mind (Kirby Clash Deluxe) Ganon (Zelda: Link to the Past) Boss Battle (SteamWorld Heist) Golbez, Clad in the Dark / The Dreadful Battle (Final Fantasy 4) Lost in Thoughts All Alone (FE Fates)
Mr. Atma please stop forcing me to update my ultimate questing music playlist so often (Actually please continue I just feel like this is amazing but being fired out all at once)
My requests: Final Battle - Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Sigma boss theme medley - Mega Man X series Final boss theme - Rayman 2: The Great Escape Falling Down - Mega Man Zero 4 Vs Susie - Deltarune
I've been playing Final Fantasy 3 on my SNES Classic, but now I'm confused about whether or not it actually is FF3, because the footage and music here looks and sounds completely different from the game I've been playing.
Ff3 on the SNES classic is actually ff6. Basically, in Japan ff1, 2 and 3 were released on the NES but 2 and 3 were not released in other places. When it came time for ff4, they called in ff2 everywhere else to avoid confusion. Then 5 wasnt released outside of japan, so for 6, they called it 3 everywhere else.
I concede, I may have overexerted myself. Steady now, and listen. I told you I would have a favor to ask when all this was done. So I hope you'll forgive me this moment of selfishness. Promise me you'll take me on your next adventure.
first 30sec: Where's the metal...? next 45sec: Doesn't matter, sounds fine this way, but it does feel like something's missing... next 80sec: Ah, there we go! rest of song: Oh, HERE we go!!
Void Termina Medely with Astral Birth Void/ The Star Conquering Traveler Suite Star Destroying Playing, The Embryos Vessel, Wings of Sorrow and All Heavens, and Shimmering Star
Request: Do Bowser's themes from Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World, but don't just do one then the other. Constantly move back and forth between the two.
