Ethan is the first player in a really long time that has impressed me. I think his playing is very melodic and has a lot of fire! He does NOT just race up and down the board aimlessly. Knows the value of a note!
Ethan, you don'y need to justify yourself to other people. You opened for Yngwie, you've played with Lynch and Out of Oblivion is still one of the best 80s style instrumental albums ever created, in my opinion. You can school most professional guitarists, so a select few RU-vid trolls are nothing. Keep up the phenomenal work, you and Nili are awesome.
Yet another awesome piece of music Ethan! I know this is one of your older compositions, but even in 2022, it is stellar just the same! Great riffs! Great phrasing! And technically brilliant shredding! Like all of your other tunes, it is the total package! Your time spent in "the woodshed" is on full display. Masterful playing, and great musicality. Love it!!! And really looking forward to what ever might be coming in the future!
Ethan, I’ve been on stage with many guitar players in my 57 years brother, and all I can say is “Wow, you have a special talent I’ve never heard!” I’ve watched this video 6 times and it just blows me away! You got yourself a hit bro! 🎹🔥
Thank youuu Eddie! Thats so nice of you to say...I first wrote this one quite a while ago, makes me very happy to see when people like you really appreciate it still :)
Absolute top drawer & a breath of fresh air. I can't believe you've escaped my radar until now. Out of Oblivion ordered. Love the AoB stuff also. Brilliant.
KILLER playing on this man. Nicely and great tone. Thanks VERY VERY VERY much for recording the ISP THETA so we can hear it BTW, every other video on youtube featuring the theta is done with the crappy camera mic which is just lame. Congrats on your Sister's brilliant success as well!!
Wow, very cool. Very ancient land like too! Love it. Thanks. I can't get enough.. Ill at home and this is great to play! Now I have to try one of the theta preamps! :-)
Love the eastern feel to the tune. really crunchy power chords. nice riffs, and legato. love the way the tunes breathes. as always your two handed technique is seamless, listening to it on record it's hard to tell the picked notes from the two handed technique. almost like you have a sixth finger. love your hammer on's and pull offs too. just a really cool tune
Thank you very much for the comment Charles! If you liked Ancient Land you'll dig my new album Live The Dream that came out yesterday! Here's a tune from it :-) Ethan Brosh - UP THE STAIRWAY - Full Track from new record Live The Dream
I'm sold! Then again, I'm always a sucker for that harmonic minor/middle-eastern/Arabesque-type vibe...goes so perfectly with metal & shred, no? Great to see Ethan keeping shred alive & well!!! \m/
So reminiscint of the great 80's players great job!! and i like your stephens extended cutaway george washburn guitar definately a blast from the past those guitars were soooo underated.
Hello Ethan, It's beautiful ! The music is beautiful and special. The video is great - the guitar looks very beautiful and cool, especially with the big cutaway for the extra frets. Cheers ! Eli
omg i love it!!! ive always wanted to play the guitar and i finally started learning. hope to b great as you one of these days wish you could teach me!!!!
wicked man... lovin ur lix... a refreshing mix of the best elements of the greats... phrasing, tone + technique all wrapped up in cool compositions... you got it going on bro!
I'd actually never heard of you before and your video came on straight after another one while I was browsing... Your playing is awesome.... really special. Great!
I can't believe that there is (finally) someone who can bring back old magical ways of rock and metal.. The speed, the melody, everything is perfect. Please come to our little Croatia, I'd like to be first in the line for the concert tickets. and I'm waitin for the next album, too. Keep it up! \m/
Without doubt this is one of the most brilliant, monstrous pieces of guitar work I have ever heard. The rhythm is out of this world. I think my testosterone tripled listening to this. When I find something that I really like I generally will buy the artists dvd and I will definitely buy previous and future recordings. Thanks for all the hard work and making my day!
Very cool. Not just awesome guitar skills, but superb composition skills as well. Very atmospheric and powerful. Brings to mind Grimmark and Romeo, but this is original and awesome in its own way.
