Your video is perfect. We recently discovered what i believe to be a cedar wood raised panel door that has been painted multiple times over it’s base coat of varnish. The wood is beautiful. I’ve become quite talented removing and stripping paint from moldings and intricate surfaces. However, sanding by hand has been a miserably long tedious task. ( i restored all my windows that way). I was looking for an alternate way of sanding the molding portion on the raised panel door. Your advise on the fluffy mop is timely. I’m thinking of starting with 240 grit or higher. Do they sell finer grit mops? The last thing i want to do is damage the wood by picking something too aggressive.

Hey there, yes if you stay in one spot you will eventually round some of the profile. Depending on the wood type...120g fluffy hardwoods, 180g for medium woods and 220g for softwood when you are doing 3d sanding. Hope this helps!
