This is the final battle with the white lord on the hardest difficulty level. I found that this hand is pretty much the only one that can beat him on the hardest level. If you find another one, please do share :)
@@coolestuser It actually was really amazing. I used toplay it a lot 5-8 years ago but never came to that high end solve because i really loved "fast-break" decks like the ants with some kind of late scaling spells and a bee... things like that. Always had troubles figuring out how to actually beat it in higher difficulty. When i first saw your card choices i was "?? lots of spells".Game started and i got why. As said i don't think that race had such a fast-break type of cards that scale well so i didn't enjoy playing it back then... finally undestood how it gets to be played now thanks to you. Lil bit of questions tho what were your hero's specs? I didn't see one trigger besides heal the whole game? And do you have a way to make this work on windows 10 or so? Everytime i try to install it it seems kinda too "new" of a pc to make it work. Got some really old one but it's prob about to die... If you do have one we maybe could duel from time to time tho i'm pretty much out of the game for a long time now and don't seem to have the game-knowledge you do. As said, this was amazing and i'd probably have gone nuts after the 100th immunity
@@micschneider2824 Hey, my pleasure :) Windows 10 before version 1809 ... no problem. This is what steam took care of. I dont know what it is, but when i run my original installer, it does fail a lot. Steam install goes through and runs fine. At least, that was before Windows 10 1809 version. Now, even with Steam install, it crashes mid game every time. I recorded this video with Windows 10 built in game recorder ( thus the audio issue which i completely missed before i uploaded the video ). Now i use virtual machine with Windows XP, and it is a breeze. Works like a charm. As far as tactics, it was easy to adjust out once you figure out that you can't hit the boss to make damage ( his specialization is insane ... like 95 out of 100 hits will fail ). You just need to cripple it's hand and wait for ether disturbance to kick in. Hard part is not to get killed in the process, but when it comes, it takes care of it self :) Sorry, but when you say "trigger" i don't know what you mean. I did not heal, that is one of the heros stats and it comes pre configured at the start of the final match ( heal 1 point every x turns ). I do get what you are saying ... there is less and less time for Etherlords even for me. I just played this game A LOT since it came out. I believe i got it like back in 2001 - 2002 maybe, and was hooked from day one. I just wanted to show the world how many hours was invested in this, and what is at the top :) Glad you liked it.
Yep, good old ether destruction is the way to go. I think I remember beating him on the hardest difficulty without even damaging him, only killing his summons. The rebirth spec with 3 luck allows you to just outlive him, provided he has no ether to damage you with. The real boss of the campaign is that fucking Kinet that comes to your castle in the first week on the mission where you have to kill the Fire Konung. Still beatable, but very annoying.
Same as the bat fight during I think etherlords 2 synthet campaign. ''Chance'' to steal life. Literally ever time, even with the talent or whatever, that suppresses enemy specialization . And when the bats die , they make you lose cards.
His dragon skin and my rebirth got triggered at the same time, but only his got displayed. Good catch, i never noticed that. It happened again at 1:02:52 and it continued to manifest at the end of every turn since 58:19 I guess you found one 20 year old bug in specializations :)
this right here is why I never finished it on the hardest. He resists literally everything. I mean how much effective health did he have? 5000? 10000? Just poor design.
