Wow ! I am very impressed with his courageous and advisory speech full of wisdom and vision - not the usual emotional vilification we hear.He clearly put the current political environment into perspective and the real potential danger it poses.He also highlighted that the main priority in Ethiopia is not ethnic 'inequality'.It also heartening and enlightening to hear that there are other group of people who are 'transformed' as he said who identify themselves based on their values rather than any ethnic group and that ethnicity is not the only way of identifying oneself.
I have so much respect for this man. Every word he uttered became a reality. Agames did not listen to him because their plan all along was to divide and conquer. RIP.

This guys is so brilliant document. Eritrea's secession was a huge mistake as well as the federalism policy that came with different identity, that works only in the West like the US, cos everyone uses English. Ethiopia together with Eritrea would have been an African power house if not separated also. too late tho, lets just hope that we the young generation can try to bring the unity back.

Why the hell some people think as if TPLF has given rights to Oromo people. Amharas are ill-informed about Oromo. Oromo/Oromia is the result of our struggle and it has come at the cost of our fallen heroes/heroines. Meles was just created OPDO's (puppets), but Oromia is the result of our struggle. Meles knows than most of the Ethiopianist elites. If he abolish Oromia, he can never stay on power and even his surrogates (OPDO) let alone self-concious Oromo pupolis will remove him from power.
