This particular flight, operated by Bombardier Q400 ET-ANX, operates between Semera which is located in one of the hottest desert regions on earth, and Dessie/Kombolcha, located in the lush subtropical highlands of the Amhara Region. Semera featured a single gravel runway at the time of filming, which only adds to this Ethiopian flying adventure.

I was taken flight from Mumbai to Ethiopia 🇪🇹 in 2018 by Ethiopian airlines Airbus A350 brand new aircraft it was amazing and enjoyable trip ✈️

This is really cool, wow, you must have more older ET flights videos, I never seen a gravel Airport takeoffs or landings in Ethiopia on RU-vid videos, but, I've seen one shorter gravel Airport (7°03'56.5"N 38°29'27.0"E ) in Awassa, 10+ years ago with Cessna 208 Caravan (maybe) on the ground, now, you showed us one (Semera Airport) and even Combolcha Airport isn't fully constructed ;). I am also amazed that you are lucky enough to get a chance and see the cockpit of Q-400 and talking to the pilots, that's 👌 👏 👍 awesome. To be exact, it might be, but you got to understand that a lot of reasons may delay all that and turning it to 40 minutes, like, weather, heading wind direction, unexpected, gusty winds on landing, getting permission from air traffic controllers...
