TL, If I'd get mesmerized and come back feeling that my country doesn't quite measure up compared to Ethiopia, I am going to blame it all on you and the colleagues. Still, thank you so much for showing us that our African brothers and sisters in Ethiopia and the continent are beautiful and awesome. (from South Africa)
Thanks for visiting our beautiful country brother. Wish more Africans embraced and traveled within the continent. Only advice is to learn a few phrases before going there. Amharic is mostly spoken in Ethiopia which is the languages mostly spoken to you by locals. There are many languages as well (Oromo) being another. Learning to communicate will help you so much. Just learn a few phrases like “sinte naw?” How much is it? It will help tremendously. Thank you for visiting Ethiopia where Christians and Muslims respect and live among one another. I like how you were very observant and know or read up on the history. Much love-OneAfrica
@@citizenm9590 In Tigrinya it's called ጠስሚ (Tesmi), you can check it out on youtube how it's made, my mom knows how to make it, i don't know how it's made 😅
@@citizenm9590 The difference between ghee/clarified butter & regular butter is simple. Ethiopian Ghee/Clarified butter is made by melting regular butter. The butter then separates into liquid fats and milk solids. Once separated, the milk solids are removed. (Type in “Ethiopian kibe recipe” to watch a live demonstration on how it’s made!) This clarified butter is then infused with spices such as fenugreek, turmeric, oregano, black cardamom, etc. Most Ethiopian dishes are cooked with this butter & it gives it a wonderful taste.
Lady ...you got to make your own injera in Ethiopia..no such thing like I am terrible or whatever..on the other hand, Tyme is a guy..he is cool whichever way
