Etho I was watching your world tour video and when you got to the abandoned mineshaft I though "This place is spooky". Then I thought what if etho could do some stuff(Redstone preferably) to make the mineshaft actually haunted. That would be such a cool project and would be great to see done. Hope you consider this for a project! 😀

137- Its the atomic number for Feynmium but its periodic number is 294 if you divide that by 147 it makes 2. On minecraft grass has an ID of 2. Maybe thats why you like grass!

137 is very close to the degree measurement for one phi-th (1/phi) of a circle. That number hits the golden ratio (read: Fibonacci sequence) and no matter how many times you go around using that degree measure, you will never stop at the intersection of two previous chords. Basically that's how most flowers work. If you fold all the petals up, you will see that rarely do any petals overlap (some variables can mess up growth). If you are still curious and somehow miraculously still reading this, look it up. Some of the things that catch our eye best use it in some shape or form. (Conch seashells, the Apple logo, flowers, the pyramids, pentagrams (not a satanist but yes they look cool), awesome winding trees, the list goes on forever)

Hey Etho, can't you just move the villagers back a block to fix the problem? anyway... 137 is a very unique number? its not only a prime number, but its made of only prime numbers. 13 and 7 are prime numbers; 1 and 37 are prime numbers (although technically 1 is a special number, not a prime number) ; 1, 3, and 7 are prime numbers; 73 and 1 are prime numbers; 7 and 31 are prime numbers; that's a lot of prime isn't it? now with all of that prime in mind, the number backwards, 731, is actually a composite number. 17 X 43 = 731 I doubt you ever heard of any of this but i did once. that's why it's my favorite number too.

I've just been looking at your videos, I know you probably won't see this but I owed it to you to give you a thank you. I know you at some point used to program and I think I saw a little bit of your 1.5 D video. Watching you had been my inspiration to actually try programming for myself; you made it sound so cool. I bought a textbook on Java programming, I signed up for a programming class, and during the summer beforehand I basically kept banging my head over that Java textbook. I never finished it, but I think it did help me to read it. When I got to the programming class, coding clicked with me and I think we had been doing basic stuff but I got to the top of the class. A year and a half later in my second year of programming, I am learning C++ and I am still top of my class, although I do worry that we might not be learning too much. I have been striking off on my own in order to learn more complex object-oriented programming, though. I needed to thank you for being the spark and inspiration for something I have found to be a really big passion of mine; I find programming to be really interesting and fun, and if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have even considered trying it. I used to always figure it was too complicated for me to try, but fortunately, I was proven wrong! Thank you, Etho, thank you!

Etho! For killing the zombies attracted to the villagers on the outside you could build a really deep ice chasm. Sort of like a giant crack in the ground and you could make sort of ice spikes in the bottom and zombies will fall and die. It would be best to build it just where the zombies gather most.

Howdy, Mr. Etho. When I read "penguin mountain" it made me think of those silly toys where penguins climb up a mountain then go down slides. You know what I'm talking about? 137 is the 33rd prime number; the next is 139, with which it comprises a twin prime, and thus 137 is a Chen prime. 137 is an Eisenstein prime with no imaginary part and a real part of the form 3n - 1. It is also the fourth Stern prime. 137 is a strong prime in the sense that it is more than the arithmetic mean of its two neighboring primes. Using two radii to divide a circle according to the golden ratio yields sectors of approximately 137° (the golden angle) and 222°. 137 is a strictly non-palindromic number and a primeval number. The fifth harmonic number is \frac{137}{60}: probably known by old Egyptians, because they used only fraction with unity numerator. Underlined by the French physicist F.M. Sanchez in 1998, publihsed in 2004 in Pecker and Narlikar: Current issue in Cosmology, p. 258. There is a connection with the so-called combinational hierarchy discovered by Parker-Rhodes (mentioned by Bastin and Kilmister in Combinatorial Physics (1996)): 3=22 -1, 7=23 -1, 127=27 -1, 137=3+7+127 =3 + 134. The number 134 is also the number of columns of the hypostyle room of the Amon temple in Karnak, this room being situed between the second and third pilar of this temple. -Wikipedia

Actually 137 is a pretty interesting number. In physics the fine structure constant, a dimensionless constant is very nearly 1/137, this constant determines the strength of the electromagnetic field and in that way it's involved in 99% of the physical processes you see around you ( Everything but the nucleus of the atoms and gravity ). As a dimensionless constant it is independent of the units chosen, that means aliens far away would find the same number than us when doing physics. Some interesting quotes from famous physicists about the number: Richard Feynman: "There is a most profound and beautiful question associated with the observed coupling constant, e - the amplitude for a real electron to emit or absorb a real photon. It is a simple number that has been experimentally determined to be close to 0.08542455. (My physicist friends won't recognize this number, because they like to remember it as the inverse of its square: about 137.03597 with about an uncertainty of about 2 in the last decimal place. It has been a mystery ever since it was discovered more than fifty years ago, and all good theoretical physicists put this number up on their wall and worry about it.) Immediately you would like to know where this number for a coupling comes from: is it related to pi or perhaps to the base of natural logarithms? Nobody knows. It's one of the greatest damn mysteries of physics: a magic number that comes to us with no understanding by man. You might say the "hand of God" wrote that number, and "we don't know how He pushed his pencil." We know what kind of a dance to do experimentally to measure this number very accurately, but we don't know what kind of dance to do on the computer to make this number come out, without putting it in secretly!" Max Born: If alpha [the fine-structure constant] were bigger than it really is, we should not be able to distinguish matter from ether [the vacuum, nothingness], and our task to disentangle the natural laws would be hopelessly difficult. The fact however that alpha has just its value 1/137 is certainly no chance but itself a law of nature. It is clear that the explanation of this number must be the central problem of natural philosophy. Wolfgang Pauli: When his last assistant, Charles Enz, visited him at the Rotkreuz hospital in Zurich, Pauli asked him: “Did you see the room number?” It was number 137. Throughout his life, Pauli had been preoccupied with the question of why the fine structure constant, a dimensionless fundamental constant, has a value nearly equal to 1/137. Pauli died in that room on 15 December 1958.

137 is very special in that it is computable, not transcendental, real, and it can be represented as a non-repeating finite decimal. Compared to other integers though, it's pretty darn normal. I mean, it's prime, but... meh. So is 94621, and 94621 is no one's favorite number.

Mammoths had smaller ears as they are extremities, the reason elephants have big flat ears is so the blood can circulate around them closer to the skin to lose heat and they also can fan themselves.

137 is the 33rd prime number; the next is 139, with which it comprises a twin prime, and thus 137 is a Chen prime. 137 is an Eisenstein prime with no imaginary part and a real part of the form 3n - 1. 137 is the fourth Stern prime. 137 is a pythagorean prime.
