In one of his newer videos where he's designing his huge storage system, someone asked him about the 25-27 item difference and yeah he essentially said he just picks two items from each box to fill manually
@@Indyfficient I wonder if it would be worth making another filler setup that contains the two missing items from a bunch of different boxes, but that might get more annoying than just having those items easily accessible for manual refill lol
More specifically he said they were always 2 low traffic items that he would usually not have to refill anyway. So there didnt seem to be much need for automating the last 2 spots
Great to see an adaptation for bedrock! Not sure i fully understand what the redstone is doing, could you explain the purpose of the string, or why the repeaters are on 4 ticks?
Yeah for sure, the string is just there so I can put a carpet on top to hide it basically and the repeaters are all on 4 ticks to allow for time for the shulker box to be broken and collected by the hopper before we power the droppers. With less delay I noticed the odd shulker box got stuck in the droppers but at those timings it’s consistent
this is great but the shulker never makes it to the barrel it's in the last dropper and needs another shulker to move it. So there is always a shulker hiding in the dropper under the carpet. Is this the case on yours? Really nice video though and tutorial was easy to follow and understand.
Get rid of the repeator below observer and place stickey piston next to the Redstoned block and observer Redstone part up and when it fires it will fix that
I know exactly why The Algorithm chose your video; however, I was surprised at the small channel. Love the video, but I would have liked to see a brief explanation about why Etho's design doesn't work on Bedrock and highlight the change you made. Great video, though! Good luck growing. Looking forward to more Bedrock builds.
Thank you! The change needed was just the bottom part with the two repeaters and the observer that pulses the droppers. On Ethos he had just one 4 tick repeater down there but it was too fast for bedrock. Also his observer was pulsing a different dropper which relied on some Java mechanics in terms of how you can pulse all three droppers at once. Just had to move the observer over and add an extra repeater basically
The odd time the shulker that breaks goes into your inventory instead of the hopper and you gotta put it back yourself, but that’s it, otherwise it’s 100% reliable
