This is a great tutorial. I made it in my realms world and sometimes the shulkers get stuck in the 5 dispensers, not quite sure why yet. Otherwise works and I think it is more of an online issue. Thanks for doing this.

my god, i found this video a day after i built it myself on bedrock, it took long and watching lot of videos of hermitcraft, now im working on trying to see if i can make it work on bedrock, then after im gonna recreate his whole base

10:06 pretty sure the block that the comparator is on right here is supposed to be a target block, cause other the target block in the materials list just isn't used

The trick is to click your left and right mouse thing at the same time. If you practice enough you’ll get it right

@@LLLadySSS Thanks, I figured it out and gave it a go when I first watched this. I can't do it consistently though and I don't play enough creative mode to practice. I've never tried in survival - I bet it's possible but you'd have to time the placing for the exact time the block breaks which would be hard.

Really great vid. I'm having issues with shulkers occasionally not being broken at the very end. I've found that you can power the torch in the back (on the yellow line from the concrete version in the world download) with a button to force it to break the shulkers that are stuck. Another MAJOR issue is that it occasionally only returns a handful of items when I have several stacks in the system. I've been watching the machine work in spectator mode and it'll sometimes move onto the next batch of shulkers before pulling everything out. I'm not sure what the issue is and I haven't been able to fix it. From Etho's video, it looks like the outer two repeaters on the hoppers that the cart goes back and forth over are set to two ticks of delay instead of one but that doesn't seem to fix the issue. I built it from a schematic I made from the concrete version in your world download and litematica says that everything was built properly. Does anyone else have the same issues?

I have had the same problems and think I managed to solve them. The button that break shulker boxes manually is definitely needed. It looks to me as though the shulker boxes, when they break, end up glitching through the dispensers, into the hoppers behind them and then they get moved back into the dispensers. It doesn't happen every time, but in my experience it happens more than once when it happens, so I need to push the "manually break the boxes" button several times. In my opinion it might actually be best to have the button activate a clock that runs the yellow line (in the world download) several times. I had your other issue as well, and in addition (and I think related) the block that stops the minecart from falling down would get retracted way too early so that the minecart fell down before it had a chance to search all the boxes. I *think* it happens because the clock behind the hoppers is a little too fast for the first cycle of searching through the shulker boxes. What would happen is that the clock would run out before the hopper minecart had a chance to pick up the required 13(?) items needed for activating the clock again. I solved both these issues by adding a much longer clock to the first part of the red line, the part that is activated by the detector rail when the system starts up. I chose a hopper clock with 18 items. I then made a redstone line going from the output of the clock all the way over to the blue line, so the block that prevents the minecart from falling down stays there for a longer time when it is searching the first five boxes. I hope the explanation was clear!

@@nErdne I found that just putting blocks of glass above the row of hoppers immediately leading into the dispensers fixes the issue with the shulkers getting stuck in the system. If you review Etho's video, you'll see that he has it set up like that as well. I'll try extending the clock on the red line like you said.

@@nErdne I was able to solve the problem of the block that stops the minecart from falling retracting too quickly by using an item that stacks to 16 as filler instead of an item that stacks to 64. This makes it so that the hopper minecart fills to the required amount fast enough to refresh a comparator pulse extender before it is unpowered. Thought I'd mention it because this method does not increase the time it takes to search the system. Where as if I understand your solution it would increase search time.
